Add investing to Bristol's list of failures

She was a failure at abstinence
She is a failure at Dancing
She is a failure at acting
She is a failure at getting an education
Now she is a failure at investing

From Maricopa.com

Bristol Palin, daughter of former Alaska governor and TV personality Sarah Palin, is no longer a homeowner in Maricopa.

The third-place finisher on the popular reality TV show “Dancing with the Stars” sold her nearly 4,000-square-foot house in Cobblestone Farms for $175,000, the Pinal County Recorder’s Office has confirmed.

The house in the 4,400 block of West Sedona Trail was sold to Michael and Carrie Lipp on April 10. Calls to Michael Lipp were not immediately returned.

Nate Martinez, the real estate agent who closed the sale, is with Remax in Glendale. His office said the Lipps moved into the house shortly after it was sold.

The 3,929-square-foot home has five bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms and a three-car garage. Palin bought the house from Mike and Cindy Smith, farmers from Minot, N.D., in December 2010 for $172,000.

Mayor Anthony Smith said while he never met Bristol, he did meet her parents at an event in Phoenix.

Smith recalled that Palin had moved to Maricopa shortly after her time on “Dancing with Stars,” so she had some celebrity status. Sarah Palin may have done some of her national talk shows from Maricopa during that time, he said.

“It was a curious interest and there were some sightings of Bristol in Maricopa,” he said. “If I happened to bump into her that would be fine, but I never went out of my way to meet her. I figured she just wanted to live her life just like anybody else in Maricopa.”
A 2,112-square-foot, three bedroom, two bathroom house on the same block as Palin’s former house recently sold for $148,000, according to REALTOR.com, the official website of the National Association of Realtors.

Suzie Rotter, broker with Clear Skies Realty in Maricopa, said the new homeowners made a good buy because home prices in Maricopa are going up, and anything less than $50 a square foot is a good deal. The Palin house sold for $45 a square foot.

Soon after buying her Maricopa home, Palin gave a tour to the television show “E!”
In June, Palin moved out of Maricopa and put the house up for rent. That same month, she published a tell-all memoir, “Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far,” in which she revealed her true feelings about Levi Johnston, her former boyfriend and father of her son Tripp, and took jabs at Sen. John McCain and his family.
Sarah Palin was McCain’s vice presidential running mate in 2008.

It looks like she made about $3,000 profit but when you take out the realtor fees she probably ended up in the hole.  Way to go Bristol!  Obviously math is not your strong suit, but what can I expect from a high school dropout.

Me thinks she only bought the house to hide her DWTS baby and for another reason I will talk about in tomorrow's post.  Stay tuned.

  1. I think so too. In addition, she was close to all the doctors and plastic surgeons to have her chin (and whatever else) done.

  2. If you remember, Bristol moved into the house , did an interview with E! Channel, then disappeared until her chin debut in Washington DC in April, so I agree with anon above. It was an expensive post surgery recovery plan, and that is all

  3. I agree that the DWTS baby was born there. I have no idea where that baby went or if that is the baby that was passed off to Britta.

One thing everyone knows for sure - she DID NOT move there to go to college....that was an outrageous lie. Not every college will take you on a GED. Bristol is special needs IMO and probably has had all the schooling she can understand.

She is one strange cookie. She's got children to take care of and that's what she should be doing. At this point, she looks like Octomom and will probably keep having kids every year.

Soon she'll be 21 (born in 1991) and will be an 'adult'. One good thing going for her - diapers come in adult sizes now. Now, if she would only keep a binkie in her botoxed mouth....

    2. From wkiwpedia:

"Bristol Sheeran Marie Palin (born October 18, 1990) is the second child and oldest daughter of former Governor of Alaska Sarah Palin and her husband, Todd."

I found it interesting that the person who bought the house was a pediatrician.

My fuzzy brain is having trouble keeping up. So, if the dwts baby was born there; that would be approx. Jan - April of 2011. Is that correct? And when did Britta's baby supposedly arrive? She seemed pretty big in that Easter picture.

    4. Anonymous @ 9:34 AM Do you really think that a family that would approve of a pregnancy hoax would have a problem with changing their daughter's birth year? I am 100% positive that Bristol's original birthdate that was listed on the website from the Governor's office was 1991. The reason I'm certain is due to the fact that I remember seeing it and thinking about how she was the same age as my youngest son and much too young to become a parent at the age of 17 (I was considering how old she would be at the time she gave birth because her due date was after her 17th birthday).

It was easier to get the fundies to accept an 18 year old giving birth, having gotten pregnant at the age of 17, rather than a 17 year old becoming a mother while having conceived at the age of 16. So the Palins' did what they also do, LIE. There were so many changes made to websites in Alaska, including deleting all pics that showed an allegedly pregnant Governor.

  4. Actually I had another reason why Bristol moved there, and it mostly had to do with Sarah. But the chin surgery is a definitely possibly. Will add that to my post.

+Failure as a mother, who denies her son the right to see his dad and paternal family!

  7. Bristol is a failure at rolling on condoms.

I guess Bristol learned the hard way that teeth can puncture them when she rolls them on.

Mamma must not of taught her that?

  8. Bristol must of gave the pediatrician a good deal for delivering the DWTS baby?

  9. I'm beginning to wonder if Sarah and Todd still own their expensive mansion as well or whether it has been quietly sold or is in some kind of limbo.

  10. Has there ever been anyone who has deserved so little who has been rewarded so much as Bristol Palin?
