Justin Bieber is a real role model...he got his high school diploma! Unlike Bristol

From Wonderwall

Despite his busy appearance and recording schedule, Justin Bieber managed to earn his high school diploma at the urging of his mother, he reveals.

"I just finished high school," the teen heartthrob told Britain's The Daily Telegraph. "I passed my test -- I'm free! It was hard doing school and work every day."

Bieber, 18, said he was driven to complete his education because it was very important to his mother. "That was something my mom really wanted me to do, so I had to do it for her," he tells the newspaper. "I mean, this kind of lifestyle has given me a different perspective on life. I've been able to travel the world. At school, usually you have to do a lot of writing and reading. I'm really not into that stuff. I like to be out there."

The teen sensation released his latest single, "Boyfriend," in March and his album "Believe," featuring Kanye West and Drake, is due out in June. "Yeah, what's so important about this album is showing I'm growing up but I'm also not losing my fans," he tells the Telegraph. "My fans are growing with me, and that's why I think it's very special."

Congrats to Justin.  It's nice to see he has his priorities in order.  He knows education is important even though he has enough money to last him a lifetime.  Too bad other famous young people do not have that ambition, like this one:

  1. Actually, I believe they both went the GED route.

The only reason he finished High School was because of his mother's urging him to do so. He doesn't value education or see the benefits of learning anything more than the next song, the next tour, the next video.

    1. Yeah, I'm not so sure he's such a great role model for the importance or value of education.

  3. It's a sad commentary on society when getting one's high school diploma or GED is considered a notable thing. If the Biebs had managed to finish college while recording music and touring I might give him some credit; if Bristol was managing college courses while working and raising Tripp I might give her some credit. But these are two kids who seem to have no respect for education.

My friend needs surgery to get rid of a nasty kidney stone. She calls this kidney stone "Biebs" because even though it's benign, it's really annoying and irritating. If she had two kidney stones she could call the other one Bristol for the very same reason. Snerk.

  4. Do people realize that Justin Bieber is one of the "entertainment" fundies for the 7 mountains people?
Yep. He is. Glad he is advocating HS graduation anyways!

  5. Bristol may have gone the homeschool route, though there's nothing wrong with that, but at least she's responsible and has worked her entire life.

    1. She sure did, Bristol was Sarah live in baby sitter, cook whatever else she had to do to raise her brothers and sisters.. supposedly even Levi was helping her while he lived there also too. Since her first irresponsible pregnancy exactly what work has she done??

Bristol Palin? Teen drinker, party girl, multiple partners and "camping tent queen?"

Please stop the fairy tale. You're embarrassing yourself!

  6. I imagine it's a lot harder to finish high school while you are continuously on tour and an international star. (Kristy, shut up already with the "Bristol has worked her entire life" charade.)

BTW, I was the anon who commented on your previous post. Good call.

    1. I feel sorry for you, your parents and your friends. I hope you have some positivity in your life and it's not all hate-filled. I think it'd be interesting to study the types of people who frequently comment with these hateful and judgmental atatements on equally hateful and judgmental blogs.

Luke I said, I feel sorry for your parents that they spawned someone with your attitude in life and towards strangers. They don't deserve a child like you, unless they're like you.

    2. Yeah, and you're not at all judgemental.

Does Bristol know you're her "biggest fan?"

    3. Anon @2:27 in not only her "biggest fan" she is also her "number one fan." She is a character right out of Stephen King's Misery.

Kristy when my dad died I went home to be with my mother, brothers, sister, and nephew. What were you doing? Oh that's right trolling the web defending Sarah Palin while your family was grieving.

  7. Despite the outward appearance of being openminded, liberals/antipalins bots/judgmental aholes really are the most rude, closed-minded people in the world. Sad you'll probably never see that because you're so deluded. Just be nice. Don't write anything you wouldn't want written about your sister or mom. Be mature.

    1. What do your mother and sister think of your obsession with Sarah and Bristol Palin?

    2. My sister and my mom don't call tabloids with "news" of their babies, beaus, upcoming weddings. My sister and my mom aren't on reality TV and don't push their noses into politics as if they actually were well informed (actually both of them are very well educated and knowledgeable). My mom knows exactly where and when each of her six kids were born, and she was married to the father of each and every one of them. Leave my sister and my mom out of it.

    3. My mom is a narcissitic mentally ill woman just like Sarah Palin. My sister is a bipolar maniac. What I write about the Palins pales in comparison to what I would write about my sister or my mom.

  9. Krazy Kristy,
Projecting much regarding how parents feel about their kid? Were you not loved as much as your siblings? Were you the outcast? Something is fishy about your constant parent comments.

  10. ?Bieber a role model just because he got his HS diploma?

Has everyone forgotten the anti-choice comments he made in Rolling Stone magazine regarding abortion and rape victims?(I have no idea why a 16-year-old male was even allowed an opinion on women's bodies and rape, but that's the media smh):

"I really don't believe in abortion. ... I think [an embryo]is a human. It's like killing a baby." When the writer asks if that also refers to incidents of rape, Bieber replies,"Um ... well I think that's just really sad. ...but everything happens for a reason."

I wouldn't be so quick to call him a role model given that he and his parents are CHRISTIAN FUNDIES.

  11. Both of them are bad role models, in fact I hate Justin with a passion, he doesn't care about getting an education as he is indulged in his wild lifestyle and recording his songs which are garbage.

Bristol is used by her mother to be in the limelight through her so-called reality shows and her life as a single mother when she's too lazy to get a decent job or a college degree.
