Was OBL really dangerous to the US? The ability or desire of radical Muslims to do serious damage is practically non-existent. There hasn't been an attack nor a plan of attack discovered in over 6 years.
All radical Muslims in practice really want is their form of Islam in Islamic countries, not the clutching at the dream of a universal Caliphate.
Bin Laden’s last known interview appeared in a Pakistan newspaper on September 28, 2001, and was translated by the BBC World Monitoring Service on September 29, 2001. In the interview, bin Laden says: “I have already said that I am not involved in the 11 September attacks in the United States. . . . Whoever committed the act of 11 September are not the friends of the American people. I have already said that we are against the American system, not against its people, whereas in these attacks the common American people have been killed. . . .

That's entirely possible - we were told that when OBL was killed, he was living in the lap of luxury. Yet the pictures tell another story. He was living in squalor in a slum.
The US claims they found evidence of planned attacks written on pieces of paper in OBL's handwriting when they killed him.
Consider that Timothy McVeigh planned and carried out an attack on a federal building which killed hundreds of people including children. Yet the US didn't declare a "War on Terrorism".
There isn't any proof that OBL was involved in the attacks on 911. In fact, there are lots of questions about what really happened and who was responsible.
It's easier to believe that the bad guy, OBL, is the boogey man... IMO, it's far more scary to consider anything else.
Most Americans also do not know that Bin Laden was once a CIA asset code name Tim Osman. There was also a report in an Arab newspaper late 2001 that he had died waaaaaaaay back in late 2001 from kidney failure as he was not able to receive the dialysis he needed. Later bin Ladens were posers...with different facial features people believed. Who knows. We are led to believe what they want us to believe. I look at all things with a critical eye, most esp 9/11. And it ain't what they want us to believe, this much I know is true. Just as we all know Sarah didn't birth Tri-G. It's not important who did, what's important is she didn't.
