Happy 4th or 5th Birthday Tripp Easton Johnston!

Who knows if Tripp was actually born on this day, he may have been born before December 28, January 2009, 2008, or 2007.  Anyway today is his "official" birthday.

Happy Birthday Tripp!  Hope daddy, Sunny, Breeze, Grandma Sherry and Auntie Sadie got to spend time with you.  But I'm sure the Palin side wouldn't allow it.

Here are some more comparison pics of Levi, Trigg, and Tripp.  Happy comparing!

Dylvan Klovig and his relationship to the Palins

This is the only picture of Dylan I could find.

I don't know much about Klovig and the ship incident in Juneau.  Can someone fill me in?  Thanks.  All I know is that he was a friend of Bristols.

Since Jesus's birthday is tomorrow

Since you and I will be celebrating Jesus's birthday tomorrow, actually his birthday was in September but we honor his birth on December 25, I thought I would dedicate this post to him.

From Valentine Logar

Jesus was the very first Socialist. Got your attention with that statement, didn’t I?

Over the past several months, many of my more politically right friends and family members have grown quite bellicose during discussions about the current administration and in particular the current President. One of the most frequent slanders I have heard is, “Obama is a Socialist!” Well, as I have heard this label more than once applied to this President, to many Liberal Democrats, and to others myself included who believe there are better options than flat out capitalism I decided to look into the situation and determine for myself the following:

A) Is Obama really a Socialist?
B) Is Socialism an entirely bad economic framework?
C) What was the basis of Socialism, where did it start?

In the West, we have peculiar views of Socialism. In fact, all too often, we wrongly equate Socialism with Nazism, the Third Reich, and post WWII Russia Communism / Marxism, in truth many pundits, those talking heads where so much of our social views seem to be derived from have put horns, cloven hooves, and a tail on socialism and call it evil. Further, we wrongly connect Socialism with a political movement, which it is decidedly not. Consider the definition of Socialism, there are many however, for the purpose of this discussion I will use the following classic definition:

"Socialism". Oxford English Dictionary. "1. A theory or policy of social organization which aims at or advocates the ownership and control of the means of production, capital, land, property, etc., by the community as a whole, and their administration or distribution in the interests of all. 2. A state of society in which things are held or used in common."

I want to go a step further and identify the historically and generally accepted forms of socialism; I believe they are applicable. During my reading, I found many different theories, different standards, and applications. I was surprised to learn how far back the theory of Socialism went, the first writings of which were by Henri de Saint-Simon in 1823. What you say, nearly 200 years ago that can’t be right; nevertheless, it is indeed the truth Utopian Socialism emerged as a economic theory in the early 19th-century laying the groundwork for modern Socialist thought.

What I found in my reading were two distinct schools of thought:

The first is the Social Democrats; this theory proposes a mixed economy with the nationalization of key industry. Social Democrats promote private ownership of property, capital, and enterprise. What appears to be the differentiators in those nations where Social Democrats hold or have held sway is market-regulation and tax funded welfare programs.

The other school of thought is the Libertarian Socialist; this theory rejects all forms of state control and private ownership reverting instead to collective ownership of production and the economy. Decision-making done via councils or workplace democracy. The Libertarian Socialist movement is more closely aligned to the original Utopian view of Socialism, which espoused communal ownership and no private property or enterprise.

Now, having established the forms of Socialism as both economic and social theories it is time to examine why I believe Jesus was the first Socialist.

Jesus was the first Socialist, this isn’t really a question, but a statement of fact based upon the New Testament Bible. In fact I find it an interesting phenomenon that those who are most vocal in their rejection of social programs to assist the poor and displaced of our society are the very same who in most cases call themselves the “Moral Majority” and espouse Christian values as the basis of their political stance.

Nevertheless, let me return to my proofs of why Jesus was the first Socialist, how I have arrived at this conclusion.
am going to start with Mark Chapter 10:21-25 21Jesus looked at him and loved him. "One thing you lack," he said. "Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” 22At this the man's face fell. He went away sad, because he had great wealth. 23Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, "How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God!” 24The disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus said again, "Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God! 25It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."

So here, we have a very good example of Utopian Socialism in action with Jesus telling the wealthy young man the only way to follow him and gain heaven was to give away his great wealth to the poor, in other words redistribution of personal wealth to those with great need from those with great riches. Naturally, this must be very difficult for some to swallow, notice that the young mans face ‘fell’ when told he must give away his wealth to follow Jesus. Here though is our first proof, we must have no personal wealth beyond our needs; Socialism seems to be de rigueur.

Moving on to the next area that might prove my point and which certainly has a few feathers ruffling today; that of health care or in this case Jesus Healing those in need. He certainly didn’t seem to pay much attention to the conventions of the time, like oh say working on the Sabbath, which got him into a few bits of trouble with the powers that be. Nonetheless, heal he did without concern or consideration for pre-existing conditions or whose toes he was stepping on Jesus made his way through the land casting out demons, healing leprosy, epilepsy, and other dastardly illnesses that afflicted the people, he cared not a whit for whether a person was rich or poor, of the ruling class, or the most destitute beggar before the temple he healed them. The Pharisees, although the ruling class within the temple at the time and thus in control of wealth, law, and healing could not prevent him from teaching or healing, even on the Sabbath. There are many examples of this sprinkled throughout the New Testament, here are just a few:

Matthew 4:23, 9:35, 17:14
Mark 7:31, 8:22
John 9:1-41

Now to one of the best proofs and that is found in Matthew 25:31-46: The Parable of the Sheep and the Goats. For those that don’t know this one the key statement is as follows:

41"Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.' 44"They also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’ 45"He will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’ 46"Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life”.
Finally, the teachings continued after the death of Jesus, the best example of the Utopian Socialism being the following by James found in 2:1-7:

1My brothers, as believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ, don't show favoritism. 2Suppose a man comes into your meeting wearing a gold ring and fine clothes, and a poor man in shabby clothes also comes in. 3If you show special attention to the man wearing fine clothes and say, "Here's a good seat for you," but say to the poor man, "You stand there" or "Sit on the floor by my feet," 4have you not discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts? 5Listen, my dear brothers: Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who love him? 6But you have insulted the poor. Is it not the rich who are exploiting you? Are they not the ones who are dragging you into court? 7Are they not the ones who are slandering the noble name of him to whom you belong?

So now, we circle back around to my original questions; is the current President, Barack Obama a Socialist? I think the answer is that he is not any more a Socialist than any other American is, we simply have a difficult time recognizing ourselves or our economy for what it truly is. The fact is the current economic system has some aspects of Socialism including government regulation of certain industries, provisioning of health insurance for the elderly (Medicare), provisioning of care for the poor at a state level (Welfare, WIC, and Medicaid), taxing authority supported police, fire, and aid (911) are all examples of socialist programs. Each is generally found in countries with mixed economies, that is Socialism and Capitalism are both at work.

Thus, my first conclusion Barack Obama is not a Socialist he is not even very far left of the middle; he is a Democrat and that is all he is.

The next question I asked is easily answered, is Socialism an entirely bad economic framework? The answer is yes, it is a bad framework as a stand-alone economy it is not possible to successfully manage a country in a pure Socialist economy. Nevertheless, the mixed economy of capitalism and Social Democracy is the appropriate and moral basis of a successful nation. This is true both from an economic standpoint and from the standard of ensuring all members of a society are able to their ability to be educated, work in relevant jobs, participate in government, and be cared for when necessary. Providing for the weakest members of society should be a given rather than a fight. Just as a purely Socialist economy is not sustainable neither is a purely Capitalist driven economy as we have ample proof of today in the United States.

So I say again, Jesus was the first Socialist. Perhaps all those who shout from their pulpits and their soapboxes about their moral right to gain riches on the backs and at the cost of others should check their premise. While they are pointing fingers and calling names, perhaps they should read the book they are standing upon, yes that would be the Bible they so readily reference usually incorrectly. During their ranting and ravings, their demand that the government “keep their hands off their Medicare”; perhaps it would serve them well to review the statements and teachings of the man who is the basis of their entire belief system, maybe this would help them.>

Obama is not a Socialist. Jesus however was the first Socialist.

Christmas present for my readers and big news!

I made a message board for all of you to partake in if you is called:

The Palins are assholes

My big news...I got a job offer in another city which means I will be relocating.  For the time being I will not be blogging.  I do have posts scheduled until the end of January but after that it will be sporadic.  Once I get settled I will get back online.  I will not be doing troll comments for the time being.

Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I take this new journey in my life.

If you can read this two things happened

1. The Rapture did not happen and the world is intact

2. The Rapture did happen and you were not called to heaven.  Now you are stuck here for five more months.

The world is supposed to end today

Who thinks the world will end today?

I personally think it will not because no one knows when it will end.  Even Jesus says he has no idea when he will return.  December 21, 2012 is the end of the Mayan calendar.  The calendar has ended before and no problems whatsoever.

If it does I hope God calls me to heaven. And if it doesn't I have enjoyed running this blog and meeting all of you. God bless!

Let's talk about gun control

I apologize for being tardy on this.  I was traveling on Friday the day the shooting occured and did not get home until late Sunday evening.  Then Monday and Tuesday I had errands and other things to take care of.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and anyone affected by it.  When I heard the news on the radio I was so upset I had to pull over for a few minutes and collect my thoughts.

This shit needs to stop.  Now.

For the record I am not against owning a gun.  I grew up in a house where there were guns.  They were only used for hunting, target shooting, and shooting vermin that were a pain in the ass.  My dad taught me that guns are not toys, but weapons which could injure or kill.

In addition to background checks a gun owner applicant should also supply three references who can vouch for their character and sanity.  If Adam Lanza who was a loner and had no friends had to do this no way would he be able to buy a gun.

Yes certain guns should be banned.  You do not need an assault rifle to hunt Bambi.  Also magazines should be banned too.  In fact there should be a limit on how many guns you can own.  All you really need is a handgun to defend yourself and a shotgun for hunting.  That's it.  Assault rifes belong in a war, not a school.

The other part of the problem is our attitude towards mental illness.  It's disgraceful the way we take care of the mentally ill.  Adam probably had no access to getting care.  If mental health treatment is not in the AHCA, then it needs to be added.

Since the shooting people like Ted Nugent, John McCain who has recieved more money from the NRA than any other Senator have chosen to remain silent and refused to go on the Sunday morning talk shows.

And then there are stupid people like Sarah Palin who can't keep her mouth shut.  Sarah you are part of the problem.  You glorify guns and blood.  And your actions caused the death of seven people in Tucson early last year.  Fuck you!

President Obama had to be the comforter in chief again.  More times than he probably cares to.  But he did a good job as always.

If a teacher can rush a shooter with an assault rifle, then a cowardly pussy like John McCain should say FUCK YOU to the NRA.

Troll comments December 9-15

Bristol Palin should be thanking President Obama and the Democrats for the reduction in abortions

But if she was an inner city negro squeezing out 10 kids with 9 different daddy's when she can't afford one that would be ok right?. You people need a life

This is a disgusting web site full of Obama cocksuckers

Well now, let me see - Just where would us guys be with out the gals
that are more than willing to: " BARE IT AND SHARE IT " Thanks to all
you teases out there for absolutely nothings. Hard to get is not
always worth having.
yone who hates on the palins is a jealous ho. Sarah IS America's only liberalemmings are filthy disgusting mentally disturbed people. If patton were alive he'd smack you all silly.

Why would anyone care what the Palins do or dont do? Jealousy is a mean s.o.b., get on with life

Yeah, so what - I had three husbands, a daughter out from my guy and the second husband left me for it. I am with God and in peace. Not so for the gays that want to marry. Who says that is right?

Alaska taxpayers paid $354,348 for Tripp to say f***** on TV

 AnonymousDecember 12, 2012 9:52 AM
The Palins aren't crony capitalists so they can do what they want. They are entitled to the riches they earn because it all comes from hard work. It is great that Bristol and Tripp also earn the Alaska State Fund. Who pays that bill?

My thoughts on Track and Britta calling it quits (and there are a lot of them)
OMG Why are you commenting on something you know nothing about?

Must be a Palin/Heath record for the shortest marriage. THIS IS A POINTLESS STATEMENT. ALL RELATIONSHIPS ARE DIFFERENT No I take that back...Bristol and Gino's trial marriage was shorter. BRISTOL WAS NEVER TRIALLY MARRIED OR MARRIED. THEY NEVER EVEN LIVED TOGETHER. I KNOW HIS ROOMMATE The only other political kid's marriage that was that short of is Elliott Roosevelt (son of FDR) and Elizabeth Donner's (January 16, 1932-July 17, 1933). Back in Elliott's day you had to go to Reno to get a divorce.WHAT DOES A RANDOM PERSONS RELATIONSHIP HAVE TO DO WITH ANYTHING? STOP COMPARING PEOPLE. IT IS WHEN WE START COMPARING THAT WE CREATE UNHAPPY LIVES FOR OURSELVES. PEOPLE ARE DIFFERENT.

I think the marriage was a sham. YOU ARENT QUALIFIED TO MAKE THIS ASSERTION. Sarah promised they would have a big reception but it never happened. BECAUSE HE WAS DEPLOYED BY THEN And Britta's comments to Radar Online speaks volumes. She said she is OK with it. BECAUSE SHES MATURE AND INSTINCTUALLY KNOWS WHAT IS BEST I doubt she and Track planned to stay married anyway. Also someone on IM made this comment:

track has never been right in the head. He has this "nervous tick" where he constantly make a noise and facial expressions, and its just got worse and worse over time. he is a nightmare to be married to. HUH? FACELESS COWARDS REALY NEED TO STOP INVENTED THINGS OUT OF THIN AIR.

If that is really true then I hope Track has supervised visitation. I don't know if he is completely over his drug addictions either. DUDE. CASUALLY USING SOMETHING A FEW TIMES ISNT A HUGE ADDICTION. STOP IGNORANTLY OPINING. IT IS PEOPLE LIKE YOU WHO SLANDER GOOD FOLKS WITH IGNORANCE

RE: Baby
Yes, several state employees forwarded Obamajokes to other state employees. It is my understanding the jokes were something along the lines of Obama getting free public housing (the White House) or something of that nature. Commissioner Kreitzer told the media that forwarding the jokes did not warrant the employees being terminated and the matter is being dealt with on a department level.

I can’t believe Lisa Deemer. I just can’t believe she would go that far.

How about I call a press availability tomorrow and on your behalf say we won’t dignify these questions and call out by name the reporters pursuing them? We can talk about the doctor being harassed, AP trying to implicate you re: racist e-mails by a few stateemployees, and much other garbage. And we could announce the new website critiquing the media. Will this make them back off? No,
at least not entirely. But right now we’re in an ax fight without an ax. Let’s at least demonstrate publicly our pride and honor that we’renot going to let this evil stand.
Now, we could go sarcastic, with a presser in which we acknowledge that Bigfoot is a member of your Cabinet who has counseled
predator control and that you are really the descendant of Anastasia, who survived the execution of the czar, s family, proving that not only can you see Russia but that you’re actually from there, and that you’ve got all of Imelda Marcos’ shoes plus Michael Jackson’s white glove. And then we can ask the ADN reporter why they’re not covering session.
There are a number of ways we can handle this. But let’s go.get ’em.

Flippin ridiculous. My doctor
(CBJ, she delivered Trig and served on our Health Care Council and was named America’s Top Family
Physician a few yrs ago) called Todd to give me a message requesting that I call her tomorrow - to discuss "a phone call she received
from Lisa Demer at the ADN"! Sheeeesh, this is one busy doctor and she has to continually be bugged by media about this ridiculous
Maybe we can be clever about this and use the opportunity to point out how wacko some media outlets have become. If you can
think of anything clever, let me know.., we’ll do it. I’ll even do a press avail on it, if need be.
Short of producing the photos that Bristol took of me having Trig (and it’ll be over my dead body that they’re released without major
photoshopping done first), I don’t know how else to prove I gave birth to Trig. CBJ has testified, she’s released my health records
summary.., what else does it take.

What was Sarah Palin doing in Las Vegas back in September??

Todd and Sarah were here to watch an auto race but I think there is more to it than that.

Sheldon Adelson casino mogul is based in Las Vegas.  He was also Mitt Romney's sugar daddy during the 2012 Election.  I wonder if Sarah went to Vegas to schmooze up old Sheldon for a 2016 run.  She knew Mitt was unelectable, that's why she waited until the last minute to endorse him.

Sheldon's wife is from Israel and we all know how much Sarah loves Israel.  Sheldon was also raised Jewish and Sarah loves to pander to Jews by wearing her Star of David necklace.  Yep I bet she and Pimp Daddy paid Sheldy a visit.  Wonder if Todd brought one of his hookers for Sheldon?

My thoughts on Track and Britta calling it quits (and there are a lot of them)

As all of you are aware Track and Britta Palin are divorcing.  Can't say that I'm surprised.  Nothing good has ever come out of being married to or breeding with a Heath/Palin.  Ask Levi Johnston and Mike Wooten.  The only one I feel sorry for is Kyla.

Must be a Palin/Heath record for the shortest marriage.  No I take that back...Bristol and Gino's trial marriage was shorter.  The only other political kid's marriage that was that short of is Elliott Roosevelt (son of FDR) and Elizabeth Donner's (January 16, 1932-July 17, 1933).  Back in Elliott's day you had to go to Reno to get a divorce.

I think the marriage was a sham.  Sarah promised they would have a big reception but it never happened. And Britta's comments to Radar Online speaks volumes.  She said she is OK with it.  I doubt she and Track planned to stay married anyway.  Also someone on IM made this comment:

track has never been right in the head. He has this "nervous tick" where he constantly make a noise and facial expressions, and its just got worse and worse over time. he is a nightmare to be married to.

If that is really true then I hope Track has supervised visitation.  I don't know if he is completely over his drug addictions either.

Sarah and Todd, leave Britta alone!  You too Bristol and Willow  You harassed Mike Wooten enough.  Don't repeat it with Britta.  And please don't disparage Britta in front of Kyla like you did to Levi .  Remember the judge that warned you to stop doing that in front of Mike's kids.

When I first saw this picture I wondered if Track and Britta were on the outs:

I think this picture was originally posted on Bristol's FB page, not sure.  But then after it was all over the internet, Chuckles Jr posted this one:

Ta-da!  There's Britta!  Any proof this was photoshopped?

I bet Sarah tipped off  TMZ about this so people would ignore Dairygate.  Course that isn't the first time she has thrown her kids under the bus.

It looks like Track got the better end of the deal in the divorce

.Track Palin and his soon-to-be ex-wife Britta filed divorce docs which tick off who gets what.
-- 23-year-old Track -- an Army reservist -- gets the $30,000 Wells Fargo bank account, $500 in tools, and his $1,000 gun collection.

-- 22-year-old Britta gets her $2,500 bank account and her $4,000 in jewelry.

According to the doc, Track rakes in $42,800 a year -- and has agreed to pay $642 a month in child support. Track and Britta have agreed to split any other child-related expenses, including medical and travel.

Britta gets physical custody, and will share legal custody with Track.

Guess Track would rather have his guns than his baby.  If he made $42,800 last year and $30,000 in the bank, why such a low amount for child support?  Is Kyla really the DWTS baby?  Maybe Britta just wanted rid of him.  Track got a good deal compared to Levi.  If Britta ever takes Track to court for skipping child support, you can be darn sure Sarah will get that squashed.  Britta don't hire Rex Butler for a lawyer!

The chickens are finally coming home to roost Sarah

From the Alaska Dispatch

Kyle Beus, co-founder and co-owner of Valley Dairy, which does business as Matanuska Creamery, is facing accusations he steered money meant for the dairy operation into his own hands. A six-count indictment filed Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Anchorage charges Beus with wire fraud and false statements used to obtain grant disbursements from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

He's accused of pocketing at least $120,000 for his own "personal and discretionary use unrelated to the construction and management of the dairy processing facility," but details enumerated in the indictment suggest the amount may be tens of thousands of dollars higher.

Ice cream and cheese products manufactured by Beus's operation are always a popular draw at farmers markets in Anchorage during the summer.

The government alleges Beus abused his status and relationships with several interrelated companies to facilitate the fraud scheme. Simplified, as a dairy manager with the authority to oversee disbursement of federal grants, prosecutors say Beus used grant-awards and contracted companies as a conduit by which to draw and request cash that was never applied toward the dairy's operations. In some cases, none of the money went toward the dairy's operations. In others, some, but not all of the money drawn was properly used.

In the indictment, Beus is accused of carrying out the scheme by sending false or inflated invoices in support of his funding requests.

According to prosecutors, many of the requests came by Beus on behalf of his first company, Klondike Creamery and Candy, which later folded into the Valley Dairy operation. Under one roof on the Palmer-Wasilla highway in Palmer, the business was to be both a dairy processing plant and a manufacturer of dairy products. Other business relationships were formed to provide equipment for the dairy and recycled jugs by which to package the milk for market.

No wonder Sarah has been so quiet lately.  Except for her screechings on FOX.  Hell she hasn't even ghostwritten much on her Fecebook page either.  Let's hope and pray that Beus sings like bird and rats Sarah out.

Someone on IM mentioned Chucky Jr was in on Dairygate too.  That's probably why he wrote a book about his sister.  Needs money for legal fees.  Any truth to it?

This story will be updated as needed.

Alaska taxpayers paid $354,348 for Tripp to say f***** on TV

From the Fairbanks Daily-News Miner

The California company that made Bristol Palin's TV show about raising her child has collected a $354,348 subsidy from the state.

Unlike nearly all of the other shows and films subsidized so far under the movie incentive program, the salaries paid to Alaska residents on the Palin show account for a majority of the total  "Alaska expenses" for the TV show.

Palin and the five other Alaska residents who participated as "talent" on the show collected close to a half-million in wages.

Total "Alaska expenses," a term that is misleading because it includes money paid to people from Outside, were reported as $995,275.

"Bristol Palin: Life's a Tripp" ran for 14 episodes last summer on the Lifetime Channel and did not gather big ratings for the cable network.

The Alaska subsidy is paid in the form of a transferable tax credit, but since the limited liability companies that make films don't pay a state tax, they sell the tax credits to other companies.

I refer to it as a subsidy because that is what it is. Calling it a "tax credit" is a misnomer since the recipients pay no taxes. The subsidy is equivalent to a cash payment from the general fund.

The document from the Alaska Film Office says the Helping Hands LLC paid $475,598 to "above the line" people from Alaska. "Above the line" is the term used to denote the stars, director, producer and other key figures in a production.

The salaries paid to people who worked on the physical production—running cameras and lights, etc.— totaled $32,400 for Alaska residents, according to the form. There were no Alaskans hired as crew for the show.

The subsidy paperwork says that six Alaskans were part of the "talent" for the show, Bristol Palin et al., and worked an average of 14 weeks.

The LLC also reported paying $74,057 in "above the line" wages to people from Outside and $148,450 to non-Alaskans for production work.

The production qualified for a seasonal subsidy of $4,964 because $248,206 was spent between Oct. 1 and March 30 in Alaska. The subsidy also included a "rural tax credit" of 79 cents, according to the form, because $39 was spent in a "rural community."

The program said that filming took place in Wasilla, Anchorage, Talkeetna, Big Lake, Palmer, Houston and Portage.

Talkeetna is one of the communities regarded as "rural," which gathers an additional 2 percent subsidy. (In the Fairbanks area, Two Rivers is regarded as rural, as is Fox. North Pole is not, but Salcha is.

With wages to Alaskans coming in at $508,000, the subsidy calculation includes a 10 percent "Alaska hire credit" worth $50,800 on top of the base 30 percent subsidy.

The Wasilla Bible Church fire remains unsolved

Here is the original article regarding the fire four years ago today.

Gov. Sarah Palin's home church was badly damaged by arson, leading the governor to apologize if the fire was connected to "undeserved negative attention" from her failed campaign as the Republican vice presidential nominee.

Damage to the Wasilla Bible Church was estimated at $1 million, authorities said Saturday. The fire was set Friday night while a handful of people, including two children, were inside, according to Central Mat-Su Fire Chief James Steele. No one was injured.

He said the blaze was being investigated as arson but didn't know of any recent threats to the church. Authorities didn't know whether Palin's connection to the church was related to the apparent arson or not, Steele said.

"It's hard to say at this point. Everything is just speculation," he said. "We have no information on intent or motive."

Steele would not comment on the means used to set the fire.

Pastor Larry Kroon declined to say whether the church had received any recent threats.

"There are so many variables," he said. "I don't want to comment in that direction."

Palin, who was not at the church at the time of the fire, stopped by Saturday. Her spokesman, Bill McAllister, said in a statement that Palin told an assistant pastor she was sorry if the fire was connected to the "undeserved negative attention" the church has received since she became the vice presidential candidate Aug. 29.

"Whatever the motives of the arsonist, the governor has faith in the scriptural passage that what was intended for evil will in some way be used for good," McAllister said.

The 1,000-member evangelical church was the subject of intense scrutiny after Palin was named John McCain's running mate. Early in Palin's campaign, the church was criticized for promoting in a Sunday bulletin a Focus on the Family "Love Won Out Conference" in Anchorage. The conference promised to "help men and women dissatisfied with living homosexually understand that same-sex attractions can be overcome."

The fire was set at the entrance of the church and moved inward as a small group of women were working on crafts, Steele said. The group was alerted to the blaze by a fire alarm.

Outside temperatures were minus 20 as firefighters battled the blaze.

Steele said a multi-agency task force was being assembled to investigate the fire.

Wasilla, the governor's hometown, is 40 miles north of Anchorage.

So who committed this heinous crime?  It's being stonewalled because most of Palin's lackeys are still in positions of higher up, like Sean Parnell.  And most people in Wasilla are too afraid of the Palins to speak out.

FOX News has pretty much dumped Karl Rove, is Sarah Palin next?

From the Daily Beast

Even a casual viewer of Fox News has seen them again and again, the network’s two most prominent political commentators, spending most of 2012 explaining why Barack Obama was going to lose.

Now Karl Rove and Dick Morris have virtually vanished, seemingly airbrushed from the airwaves.

Turns out they’ve been sidelined, at least temporarily, by Roger Ailes. Rove, regularly introduced as George W. Bush’s architect, and Morris, a onetime Bill Clinton strategist who moved to the right, are a reminder of Fox’s faulty forecasting.

New York Magazine’s Gabriel Sherman reports that Ailes has issued an edict: Neither man can be booked without the approval of top management.A Fox spokesman confirmed this to the magazine with the words: “The election’s over.”

Could this simply amount to Rove fatigue? After all, he and Morris were a constant presence, but there’s less reason to have them on when you’re not analyzing the latest swing-state polls.

But I suspect it’s more than that. Rove drew national ridicule for challenging Fox’s own projection that Obama had won Ohio, and with it a second term. In that moment, he became a symbol of a partisan operative not willing to accept an uncomfortable reality.

Morris got so carried away in his cheerleading for the GOP ticket that he predicted Mitt Romney would win in an electoral landslide.

(The other all-star Fox pundit, Sarah Palin, seems to be making only infrequent appearances now that her political star has dimmed.)

Perhaps this is just a cooling-off period—Rove and Morris did pop up a few times after Election Day—until we plunge off the fiscal cliff or something and both men can be brought back as the memories of 2012 recede. Or perhaps, contrary to conventional wisdom, some pundits do pay a penalty for being spectacularly wrong.

Meanwhile, the "winning" team--the pundits at MSNBC--got to pay a private call on the president on Tuesday. Rachel Maddow, Ed Schultz, Lawrence O'Donnell and Al Sharpton were big Obama boosters during the campaign. (Arianna Huffington also joined the soiree.) A White House statement said the president had met with "leading progressives" to talk up his economic plan. Progressive they are indeed, but wouldn't they rather be known as journalists?

Sarah pay attention!

Karl who is much smarter than you, is taking a break, perhaps a permanent one.   But his on-air rant and fading influence has caught up to him.  You have an 83 IQ but that didn't matter to Roger Ailes cuz you were hot.  You no longer have any influence either and have gone looking like this:

The Nevada based forensic lab was retained to preserve evidence recovered from the Anchorage Alaska Police Dept evidence locker that pointed to the Secret Service prostitution scandal in Colombia.

"I was working on a separate case when the Colombia Secret Service scandal broke. My client in that case reported to me an involvement with the Secret Service Agent that triggered the Colombian prostitution scandal. My original client then presented me with several items of evidence straight from the police evidence locker. After examining this additional evidence we were able to recover, preserve and document some incriminating data that was presented in the Congressional hearing." Says Ed Opperman Pres of Accurate Information Recovery Inc.

"After this new evidence and supporting affidavits were submitted to the congressional record," continued Opperman, "They concluded there was additional misbehavior by the Secret Service above and beyond the scandal in Colombia."

I found the perfect soulmate for Kristy Patullo

Is that your twin SPHASH? She has your temperament and maturity level

Bristol Palin posted this picture of Tripp on her blog

She probably just likes that picture.

I pick out old pictures of my kids all the time to use for various things.
To a parent, the child is every age it's ever been.

This is so ironic, because I loathe anything Palin, but your blog comments are the only ones that actually have me defending them on occasion.

Go figure.

Anonymous, do you ever use common sense and stop thinking with your black heart and brainless head?

All the Heaths always get together each holiday. They all alternate who opens their home for the extended family and friends. Last year, tgiving was at Heathers and xmas was at Sarahs.

And before you scream "stalker", remember, there are hate bloggers who actually stalk and send people to take pictures and hire PIs. I simple gauge things from technically public pictures. I also do not make judgments about things based on outsider opinion and rumor. That is far creepier than anything SPHASH has ignorantly posted.

Wow, Tripp looks a lot like Heath. And where's Heather's youngest son, the one who lived with Molly for a year and she begged him to stay the following year? Why are you commenting on who's holding Trig? Im not shocked at all she's holding him. Well, im a little shocked W's not, but Piper loves the babies. At cousin's bday, she was the one holding her 1 week old second cousin. They're all just loving people.

Are you around kids? Tripp doesn't look like he's 5 now. When he was playing with one of Willow's school friends, who's also 3, they looked like the same age. Tripp's even shorter. This post is weird considering you've never actually met Tripp nor seen how tall he is in person.

I'm around kids all the time. My daughter is six and in first grade. One of her best friends is five. The school playground is full of five year olds. My nephew is four.

You, on the other hand, are obviously not around kids...and that's probably a good thing.

Val Chmerkovskiy wanted to be paired with Bristol Palin for only one reason

 From the Examiner

According to Wetpaint on Dec. 4, third-place finisher Valentin Chmerkovskiy originally wanted to be paired with Bristol Palin instead of Kelly Monaco, but not for the reason you might think.

Val, a relative newcomer to DWTS, wasn't too successful coming into Season 15, the all-star season. He had been paired up with Elisabetta Canalis and Sherri Shepherd for his first two seasons. He really had high hopes for Sherri Shepherd, but they were eliminated in the third week. So Val decided he would set things up the way he liked them for the all-stars.

"Going into [Season 15] I had very different views and my imagination was taking me in a different way," Val revealed to Entertainment Tonight. "My expectations were very, very different. I was really happy to the idea of Bristol Palin, only because I was so discouraged with my last two seasons that I was like, look, I'm going into the all-stars season, which is definitely going to be the most competitive, and the last two seasons I've been eliminated in [Week] 2, 3. ... I was like, Bristol? At least I'll have an excuse. At least they'll be a reason and I'll be like 'Well, I did my best.'"
Something more was in the cards for Val, though. He was paired with Kelly Monaco, the Season 1 winner, and it sparked an enchanting season of dancing and intense chemistry which took them all the way to the finals. Both Val and Kelly claim an incredible friendship has resulted from the pairing.
It will be interesting to see what Season 16 brings to the younger Chmerkovskiy. He made it to third place this season. Could Season 16 bring him his own mirror ball trophy?

All I can say is this-BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

One of Sarah's endorsees pulled a Palin...he took the money and ran!

From NY Times

With a disappointing election in his rear view mirror and a budget compromise he could never swallow on the horizon, Senator Jim DeMint, the conservative Republican from South Carolina who helped ignite the Tea Party movement, is leaving the Senate to become president of the Heritage Foundation, a conservative research group.

Just two years into his second term, Mr. DeMint, 61, whom many in his own party partly blame for Republicans failing to win Senate control two elections in a row, announced on Thursday that he has opted for a platform and a payday that the United States Senate could never provide him.
His resignation also comes as Tea Party followers in Congress face new pressure to pull back from their uncompromising views in the election’s aftermath. He will depart with the start of the new Congress in January.

Come January, the occasional kingmaker, conservative hero and filibuster lover — he once forced the Senate to stay in town for a Saturday vote that he then chose to skip — will find himself with a space to continue his efforts to push the Republican Party to the right from the outside rather than the inside.

His imminent departure to head a well-financed organization with significant heft in conservative circles will allow him to oppose even more loudly a big budget deal that includes higher tax revenues sought by President Obama. Mr. DeMint has been a loud Republican critic of a deal proffered by House Speaker John A. Boehner to address the impending fiscal crisis by generating at least $800 billion in new tax revenue.

“I’m leaving the Senate now, but I’m not leaving the fight,” Mr. DeMint said in a statement. “I’ve decided to join the Heritage Foundation at a time when the conservative movement needs strong leadership in the battle of ideas.”

In a parting shot — or perhaps warning flare — Mr. DeMint on Thursday suggested to Rush Limbaugh that Mr. Boehner might need to watch his back. When asked if Mr. Boehner was forcing him out, Mr. DeMint replied, “It might work a little bit the other way, Rush.”

The job switch should have substantial financial benefits for Mr. DeMint, whose 2010 net worth, $65,000, was among the lowest in the Senate. Edwin J. Feulner, the current head of the foundation, in 2010 earned $1,098,612 in total compensation.

A hero to many Republicans for his campaign fund-raising abilities, Mr. DeMint frustrated Senate colleagues by eagerly backing Republican candidates like Sharron Angle of Nevada, Ken Buck of Colorado and Christine O’Donnell of Delaware in 2010, and Richard Mourdock of Indiana and Todd Akin of Missouri this year, contenders who proved too conservative to be elected statewide. Those losses set back Mr. DeMint’s effort to bring the fiery conservatism of the House to the Senate, though he did have a hand in electing Senators Mike Lee of Utah, Marco Rubio of Florida, Rand Paul of Kentucky and Ted Cruz of Texas, who takes office next month.

“The truth is that Jim DeMint’s philosophy on everything from Medicare to women’s reproductive rights, as embodied by his handpicked candidates for Congress, has been rejected by voters,” said Senator Patty Murray of Washington, who headed the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee this year. Privately, so as not to inflame him, several Republicans also said Mr. DeMint’s departure would produce few tears among them.

Mr. DeMint’s leadership PAC, the Senate Conservatives Fund, spent $5.48 million in the 2010 and 2012 elections, and out of 27 races that it stepped into, his preferred candidate won either the primary or general election 8 times.

The costly Senate defeats, as well as Mr. DeMint’s proclivity for gumming up legislation on the floor, and his virtually nonexistent legislative productivity, stunted his chances for leadership in the Senate.

Gov. Nikki R. Haley of South Carolina, a Republican, will now be compelled to appoint a successor who would then run to maintain the seat in a special election in 2014, when Senator Lindsey Graham, the senior senator from the state and a fellow Republican, will also be up for re-election. Aides said that Ms. Haley was surprised by Mr. DeMint’s announcement.

South Carolina is a small state, politically speaking, and almost every Republican member of the House delegation, many of them close to Mr. DeMint politically and personally, are possible fill-ins.

Representative Tim Scott is a popular freshman from Charleston who is well known around the state from having served on Charleston County Council for 13 years and in the State House of Representatives for two years. The first black Republican to serve his state in Congress since Reconstruction, Mr. Scott could give Republicans a high-profile black member of the Senate, which has no black members from either party. Mr. Scott, who shares a political consultant with Ms. Haley, is believed to have other ambitions, including a possible run for governor.

While a fellow Republican freshman,  Mick Mulvaney, might also like the job, he does not have a close relationship to Ms. Haley in a job and state where such ties matter, and the delegation is expected to coalesce around Mr. Scott. What’s more, there are many Republicans in the state who would love to have a run at Mr. Scott’s seat.

Ms. Haley, who said that she would not appoint herself, is most likely to frame her choice around her own re-election efforts. She is a ripe target for a conservative primary challenge.

“Our state’s loss is the Heritage Foundation’s gain,” Ms. Haley said in a statement. “I wish Jim and Heritage all the best in continuing our shared commitment to America’s greatness.”

The distraction of a new seat may well benefit Mr. Graham, who has taken some positions on immigration and climate change that have drawn fire in his very conservative state. On the Senate floor Thursday, Mr. Graham said that his state was losing “a great strong conservative voice,” and that “on a personal level I’ve lost a colleague and friend.” Their relationship, he said, at times was “playing the good cop, the bad cop, but we were always trying to work together.”

The Senate's loss is also their gain.  Jim DeMint is an asshole who has done nothing but obstruct President Obama's plans to get American back on track.  This is also the same man who said unmarried women and gays should not be allowed to teach.

Sarah Palin endorsed this pathetic man back in 2010.  Yep she taught him well.

Over at the Pee Zoo they are clamoring for Sarah to move to South Carolina, take up residency so Gov Haley can name her to the vacant Senate seat.  Sorry PeeZooers, SC hates Palin too.

Bristol Palin posted this picture of Tripp on her blog

She posted this picture on November 27 and stated he would be turning four next month.

Right now Tripp looks like he could be five.  So is this an older picture of Tripp?  I see Bristol is cut out of this picture.  Was it taken before her chin surgery?  Is Bristol trying to make Tripp younger than he is?

The whole Heath klan got together for Thanksgiving.  Tripp included:

Tripp looks closer to five in that one.  I see Piper is holding Trig (again).  Sarah looks bored.  Piper looks like a mini-Sarah.

The Palin curse lives on

From the Immoral Minority

Courtesy of Reuters:

The U.S. government banned BP Plc on Wednesday from new federal contracts over its "lack of business integrity" in the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill, possibly imperiling the company's role as a top U.S. offshore oil and gas producer and the No. 1 military fuel supplier.

The suspension, announced by the Environmental Protection Agency, comes on the heels of BP's November 15 agreement with the U.S. government to plead guilty to criminal misconduct in the Gulf of Mexico disaster, the worst offshore oil spill in U.S. history. The British energy giant agreed to pay $4.5 billion in penalties, including a record $1.256 billion criminal fine.

This very good news, though considering the devastation caused by the negligence of this company there will NEVER really be an appropriate cost which can be levied against them in my opinion.

However I have to say that being forced to pay 4.5 billion in penalties, which is the most EVER paid out by any company in US history, along with having the opportunity to bid on new contracts stripped away, MIGHT cause enough pain to the company to make them put safety concerns front and center from this point forward.

By the way I am not sure if any of you are aware, but the first time there were any allegations that BP cheated while testing those blowout preventers, you know the ones that failed and caused the giant oil spill in the Gulf, was up here in Alaska, was actually from tests performed on the North Slope to be exact.

And do you know who was the manager in charge of testing those blowout preventers on the North Slope at that time?

 You guessed it.

Just ANOTHER example of the Palin curse at work I suppose.

Jesse you hit the nail right on the head.  The Palin curse lives on.

The real reason John McCain hates Susan Rice

From the Washington Examiner

Most of Sen John McCain’s opposition to the idea of Susan Rice as Secretary of State comes from her defense of the Obama administration’s response to the attacks in Benghazi. But Rice has criticized McCain repeatedly, especially while serving as Obama’s senior foreign-policy adviser for his 2008 campaign.
Rice, a Clinton administration veteran, became Obama’s senior foreign-policy adviser, after she chose him over Hillary Clinton early in the presidential race. That put Rice squarely in opposition of McCain, each time the war veteran tried to challenge the junior senator’s national security credentials.

“His tendency is to shoot first and ask first questions later, it is dangerous and we can’t afford four more years of this reckless foreign policy,” Susan Rice said to reporters about McCain in August 2008.

When McCain tried to paint Obama as someone who routinely shied away from tough decisions on Iraq, Rice was there to tear down his record.

On critical, factual questions that are fundamental to understanding what is going on in Iraq and the region, Senator McCain has gotten it wrong and not just once but repeatedly,” said Rice in June 2008.

When McCain tried to go after Obama for his bland response to Russia’s aggressive moves in Georgia in August 2008, Rice again portrayed McCain a dangerous “shoot from the hip” leader.

We were dealing with the facts as we knew them,” Rice said on MSNBC. “John McCain shot from the hip, very aggressive, belligerent statement. He may or may not have complicated the situation.”

Rice even got personal with McCain when Obama traveled overseas to visit the Middle East.
“I think he wants to get out and do as much as he can Rice said about Obama’s trip. “I don’t think he’ll be
strolling around the market in a flak jacket.”

Rice was subtly referring to McCain’s trip to Iraq a year earlier, after he was mocked by liberals for wearing body armor while visiting what looked like a peaceful market in Baghdad.

That is the real reason.  She had the guts to stand up to him four years ago and as SOS she definitely won't be taking any shit from him.

Troll comments November 18-Dec 1

Lisa Demer of the Anchorage Daily News is my new hero

This is such old info, I had to double check the post date to see if an old post accidentally showed up on Gryphen's blog roll.

You call her your "new" hero. Is this new info to you?

Do you have something new to add to the old story?

She apparently hasn't done anything more since 2008 so I'm not sure why you say she's your "new" hero.

Call me confused

Seems I started a bit of a controversy

Wow. This post is even worse that that other one. You literally just wrote all the most outrageous pieces of slander in one place. The most bizarre point in your list is that she actually had control over people's dating lives. Note to SPHASH: people do not break up because a third party wants it. People break up because the relationship wasn't working. Trust wasn't there. That is evident in B and L just using eyes and common sense. Cheating was the foundation of their HS relationship. You really can't grow past that. Distrust will always be there.

Other than that, this post is despicable.

Harassed her ex-brother in law and disparaged him in front of his kids. Todd did the same. (You have no idea what you're talking about & know no real inside facts and people's feelings. Note that that man wasn't liked by the family and he ALSO said some pretty false and nasty things. There are TWO sides to EVERYTHING)

Tried to force rape victims to pay for their rape kits. (That wasn't instituted by HER.)

Correction: when Levi was busy pursuing Tank's selfish dream, Bristol was living quietly and maturely working at a normal job. She took opportunities LATER when they arose because, let's face it, after so much slander was said about her via blogs, she deserved it.)

You are singlehandedly ensuring the blog world will never be taken seriously. Most people already think it's a joke unless the blogs are personal or a how-to topic. Congrats!

Re: Tucson shooting victims. (this is subjective. You couldn't possible know what she feels. If I were to judge YOU superficially, I'd call you a callous robot devoid of human emotion and honesty)

Re:Gabby Giffords (Apologize for what? The psychopath who was obsessed with her (gabby) dating back to 2007 and possibly earlier? No one is responsible for psychopathic actions besides the psychopath)

Re:Trig (your weird perception. He is her son and he traveled/s with her when he can. There's no harm in that. People love him and beg to see him.)

Re: President Obama's children. (Attack? I've NEVER read a personal attack on ANY of the Obamas. Bristol pointed out the weirdness in someone changing their mind just because of what 2 people casually said, when he initially gave a specific reason he was anti-Gay marriage. She didn't attack the girls. This distortion needs to stop. Sarah herself has even called O's family nice. Keep in mind that calling out his lies is NOT personally attacking him. I doubt she has a personal problem with him. She doesn't know him. Her problem is many people's. Obama says disrespectful things about large groups of people (small business owners, while having no perspective on what they really do for a living)

Re: under the bus (under the bus? HUH? She's likes McCain; how was Stein thrown under the bus? She ran against him. How is that different from Obama asked Hillary to be his mentor when he became a Senator and THEN running against her? Steve is a pompous ass, says everyone and we don't know what that was actually like. And Nicholle had no problems throughout the campaign with anything, evidenced by glowing smiles and good rapport between the Wallaces and Sarah. She then capitalized via a fictional novel later on. Why judge situations you don't have firsthand insight on though? It's weird and people don't care about ignorant opinions. People judge others for themselves)

Re: Curtis Menard Jr. (uncalled for. His whole family is close to hers. Her nephew's middle name is Curtis. These lies need to stop. They would hurt lots of people)

Bullied her neighbors. ( which is why she's friends with most of them. I met a woman who lived next to her in the 90s/early 00s. Loves the family and S and T. Also just met a young man whose family was extremely close to the Palins during that same time. They loved/love them. And why would you plurialize something when you're ignorant on the matter? Again, you're so young and weirdly judgmental, it's sad.)
Re: health care reform legislation, Legislation which will save thousands of lives. (First off, Canada has a BAAAAD HC system because of socialism, people die because of it. And Dude, you're an idiot who obviously has no idea what the measure could do to business. If my parents and myself still had our businesses, HCR would have fucked us over costwise. And she didnt do it singlehandedly. I personally had been hearing about those "death panel" type things since that summer, months before her post. Again, your ignorance is showing.

Why make judgment calls stemming from lies you started? Your lies stem from other blog lies. And you wonder why there's so much fiction on the internet in general. I feel sorry for you. Deeply.
