Happy Inauguration Day!

I hope the Romneys are watching it at home in LaJolla, Utah, Belmont, or New Hampshire.  I also hope Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann, Rick Perry, Herman Cain, Ron Paul, Tim Pawlenty, are watching as well.

    1. I know the someone you're referring to and she isn't in Wasilla. She's in Scottsdale.
I'll bet her sphincter is tightening up right about now. If she hasn't ingested her laxatives already today, that is...

    2. From the look of recent photos, Sarah Palin doesn't know where she is or what day it is.

  4. Yes, the half-term governor quitter is probably having a bad weekend and tomorrow won't get any better. Her 4-year campaign to undermine the president, to tell out-and-out lies (death panels!), spew her particular brand of word-salad hatred all directed toward Mr. Obama, did not result in him being defeated. Thank God!
She was in shock, apparently, on the night of the election when the president was re-elected. Shock? Really, Sarah?
Let me tell you what is shocking. That Sara Palin was ever even considered vice-presidential material. Not to mention that the good people of Alaska actually voted her in as their governor.
What isn't shocking is that Sarah would quit her governorship half-way through to chase money. Country and state first?? Duty? Finish a job she was elected to do? Not Sarah.
She's a self-serving, narcissistic, uneducated, vindictive, vile nincompoop.
Have a nice day tomorrow, quitter. Hope you enjoy the festivities from Washington, D.C. A place, thankfully, you'll never have a job in.

  5. Just watched the swearing in in the Blue Room. At least Justice Roberts didn't fuck up the oath this time. I think he did it deliberately four years ago.

I thought it was intentional as well.

      There is no doubt Sarah does not know the real ceremony is today and the public one is tomorrow. (There is a specific date in the Constitution, Sarah.}

  6. Just watched President Obama take his first oath of office in the Blue Room. Justice Roberts read it from a sheet of paper! So far, so good!

A lot of the comments on far right forums are hilarious.

Many are drawing parallels between Obama and a crowned monarch, effectively whining that he's literally King George or something. Like all of their insults it's not very well thought out (as England doesn't re-crown Elizabeth every 4 years, or ever re-crown a sitting monarch) and just shows how desperate they are to pin him as Something Bad.

Many are refusing to watch the inauguration as a last desperate attempt at dethroning Obama before they get around to that armed uprising they've been promising since the Clinton admin.

    The Republican tears are delicious.

  8. Well, I didn't watch Bush's inaugurations. But I didn't skip them to make a point: I just wasn't particularly interested in him.

I'm still worried about tomorrow. There have been so many threats.

That said, I have this fantasy about the Romneys, with Mitt slugging back the hot cocoa and demanding more. "Hit me again, Ann! And extra whipped cream, too!" while he sags in his recliner and broods at the TV....
