OK I'm back (sort of)

Well friends it's been a while since I've  posted on a regular basis so I am going to give you an update.

I'm settled in my new city now.  I will not reveal the location of it however.  Don't need a patient from the asylum or Krusty coming after me.  The new job is going great, ableit challenging at times.  My boss and co-workers are wonderful.

On my last day of work at my previous job I got to have an exit interview, I really let the HR Manager know how I felt about the place.  All he did was defend management which I expected but it was therapeutic to get it all off my chest.

The problem with that company is that it is owned by a private equity group like Bain Capital and does everything on the cheap.  After reading all the horror stories about how Mitt ran companies into the ground I got fearful that it was going to happen to my company.  I was literally living what the employees at Maytag, and KB went through while working there.  I decided to go back to school, get my certificate in Travel and Tourism Specialist and get another job.  And it worked.

Even though I'm actually making less than what I did at my old job, I'm so happy.  Money doesn't buy happiness.  I work a normal schedule, no more 2nd shift, no Saturdays, and I'm not treated like a slave.   Physically and mentally I feel so much better.

I also decided to start donating plasma to get extra money.  I did it for about 2 years several years ago but had to stop due to scar tissue buildup.  At least I'll have some beer money.

As far as at this blog is concerned I will try to keep up on it as much as I can.  After I moved I hooked up my computer and discovered the motherboard is shot, so I will have to get another one installed which may be a while.  In the interim I will have to go to the library to blog and I may not get there everyday.

Thanks for your patience and support!

    1. Don't worry. Despite me knowing your real name, I will respect your privacy. I am not you or SPHASH. But it's good to know whom you find acceptable as personalities. It's good when people here let it be known as low they actually are in class/manners.

Please continue to be dregs of society and avoid the public at large. We don't need more immature, ignorant people.

    1. Why would Sarah get in the way of someone who's never met her? You basically just admitted you all stalk her so much she consumes most of your lives. THAT is truly devastating for you. I will pray you become respectable adults soon.

  5. Dear SPASH creator

Congratulations on new job, new city, new friends!

FYI, I've seen many computers that supposedly need a motherboard actually turn out to be something else. Often times, it's the power supply, the memory or some other component that is causing the problems.

If you have a laptop PC, replacing the motherboard is probably only worth it if the computer is less than 2 years old, and is in otherwise perfect condition.

If you have a desktop PC, it's a lot easier to do, and shouldn't cost more than $125 for the board, (plus labor) unless you have a gaming or higher end computer.

Good luck, and we'll be looking forward to the latest on the Paylin saga of idiotic tweeting, facebook madness, and all of $arah's secret ravings to herself!

    :)

  6. Good for you for taking charge of your life! We spend too much time at work to be frustrated, tense and unhappy!

    1. No one should ever be unhappy. In this country ANYONE can have ANYTHING they desire. We have 20-something millionaire because people aren't afraid of going for it. We have people who started a tin business 50 years ago who turned it into a giant Corporation.
THAT is what life is about. Striving for the top and sustaining it to ensure you and your loved ones live happily. Then there are people who are dependent or complacent on a boss type because they aren't innovative. They often try to bring down the successful ones by screaming "greedy bastard." Its very sad how democrats have poisoned the country.

  8. Sarah is a ding-a-lingFebruary 15, 2013 at 11:51 AM

¨Work¨ requires none of my energy. I look forward to ¨work.¨ ¨Work¨ defines me. IOW, I love my ¨work.¨

I have a friend with an Ivy League education who teaches surgery at the local medical school. He is miserable to be around. He hates ¨work.¨ He remains my friend because he is a good tennis player.

I have another friend who barely ekes out a living as a tennis pro. He loves his ¨work.¨ He is married to a quadriplegic and loves to carry her around. She was his high school sweetheart and broke her neck in a diving accident. He is a joy to be around. He remains my friend because he loves his ¨work.¨

It takes guts to make a change.

    You have it.
