Sarah no longer employed by FOX

Yes this is old news but worth discussing

Is she able to collect unemployment, you know that big bad government program?

If she isn't working and has no offers, how is she supporting her family?

No one is donating to SarahPac anymore.  She can't go on any vacations.

Is Creepy Chuckie Sr. and Jr supporting her?

OK I'm back (sort of)

Well friends it's been a while since I've  posted on a regular basis so I am going to give you an update.

I'm settled in my new city now.  I will not reveal the location of it however.  Don't need a patient from the asylum or Krusty coming after me.  The new job is going great, ableit challenging at times.  My boss and co-workers are wonderful.

On my last day of work at my previous job I got to have an exit interview, I really let the HR Manager know how I felt about the place.  All he did was defend management which I expected but it was therapeutic to get it all off my chest.

The problem with that company is that it is owned by a private equity group like Bain Capital and does everything on the cheap.  After reading all the horror stories about how Mitt ran companies into the ground I got fearful that it was going to happen to my company.  I was literally living what the employees at Maytag, and KB went through while working there.  I decided to go back to school, get my certificate in Travel and Tourism Specialist and get another job.  And it worked.

Even though I'm actually making less than what I did at my old job, I'm so happy.  Money doesn't buy happiness.  I work a normal schedule, no more 2nd shift, no Saturdays, and I'm not treated like a slave.   Physically and mentally I feel so much better.

I also decided to start donating plasma to get extra money.  I did it for about 2 years several years ago but had to stop due to scar tissue buildup.  At least I'll have some beer money.

As far as at this blog is concerned I will try to keep up on it as much as I can.  After I moved I hooked up my computer and discovered the motherboard is shot, so I will have to get another one installed which may be a while.  In the interim I will have to go to the library to blog and I may not get there everyday.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Sarah doing what she does best, begging for money

From her Fecebook page

It was a beautiful memorial service for Chris Kyle at Cowboys Stadium this afternoon. What a celebration of a great life! All in all, is there a finer human being who has crossed the 50-yard line star in Texas than Chris Kyle? Please click on the following link for information on how we can help out the families of Chris Kyle and Chad Littlefield. As patriotic Americans, this is a tangible way to show appreciation and support for good people. On a personal note, I thank you who've sent birthday greetings today, and it would be awesome if you'd join me in supporting the families of these heroes by helping them out!

- Sarah Palin

Then she gives a link that takes you to guess who, Bristol's blog!

Still so sad over Chris Kyle’s death, and trying to help the family in any way.  Here are some ideas, suggested by one of his friends – Former Navy SEAL Brandon Webb:
For those wanting to help Kyle’s family, America’s Mighty Warriors is collecting donations under “Chris Kyle Memorial.” Glenn Beck’s Mercury One will also be collecting donations that will be given to FITCO Cares, a foundation started by Kyle. Webb said his foundation — the Red Circle Foundation — will send donations made in honor of Kyle to the appropriate fund established to help his family.
In fact, the entire article is worth a read as we remember an American hero.

Desperate for attention and money aren't you bitches?

Today is Abraham Lincoln's birthday so I thought I would write a review of the movie Lincoln.

I saw Lincoln over Thanksgiving weekend while in Wisconsin.  I highly recommend it to everyone.

Growing up I admired Lincoln a lot.  I visited his home in Springfield, his grave, his birthplace in Kentucky, and his home in New Salem IL.  Now that I'm a Democrat I admit a little luster has tarnished but he still commands my respect.

One thing I learned in Lincoln was that even though he was a great leader, he was a politician and was willing to circumvent the laws to get what he wanted, like bribing lame duck Congressmen to vote his way on the 13th amendment, and lying to Congress about a potential peace offering from the confederacy.

Lincoln was a smart man, he was a lawyer and new all the tricks..

One thing that I disagree with Lincoln on is his refusal to allow Robert to serve in the military.  Robert was a grown man for pete's sake!  I know Mary had mental issues and took Willie's death hard (they lost another son Eddie years before, where's the grief there?) but to not allow Robert to serve was a disservice.  During WW2 all four of Franklin D. Roosevelt's sons served willingly, was in some of the worst battles of the war (Casablanca, Makin, Okinawa).  If FDR's sons could do it so and he allowed, then Lincoln should have.

Lincoln was a funny man.  Watch the movie for his humor.

All in all a great president and worthy of being on the $5 bill.
