Meet the Duggars friends the Bates

From Gawker

If you watch the TLC show 19 Kids and Counting starring confirmed child molester Josh Duggar, chances are you’re familiar with the Bates family. From their frequent appearances on the show since 2009, to a 2012 TLC special entitled “The Bates Family: And Baby Makes 19,” to a now-canceled 2012 TLC show United Bates of America, to the new ratings success Bringing Up Bates on “family-oriented” network UPtv, Gil and Kelly Bates have never been shy about their friendship with the Duggars.

While there is much speculation regarding the origins and extent of the family’s actual relationship with the Duggars, according to TV screens, they’re as close as can be, constantly “fellowshipping” around disposable flatware, manual labor, and rolling cameras.

Many fans of Bringing up Bates believe the Bates family is “better” than the Duggars; Kelly Bates genuinely seems to love her 19 children, Gil Bates actively parents (and can also paint glow-in-the-dark eagles at impressive speeds), minimally talented country-singing son Lawson is more sociable and fun than any Duggar boy, and Erin Paine nee Bates is compelling to watch as she shares everything in her life from makeup tutorials to her struggles with fertility.

But lurking behind the admittedly gorgeous family are the same ugly beliefs that drove the Duggars to keep their child-molesting son hidden from authorities for over a year and in the same house as the sisters he molested for many more. Alongside Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, Gil and Kelly Bates share a devotion to God, an affection for TV money, and a strict adherence to the ATI (Advanced Training Institute International) homeschooling curriculum.

It’s not a secret that the Duggars follow the ATI curriculum, an educational program that tells young women to cover up their bodies lest they “defraud” the horny men around them, and an educational program that blames victims of sexual assault. But the Bates family ties to ATI run deeper and present a troubling dynamic in the Duggar molestation scandal: regardless of whether or not Gil Bates knew of Josh Duggar’s actions—an open secret in their shared tight-knit religious community—Gil Bates himself is a driving force in ATI, peddling an actively harmful and scientifically inaccurate curriculum to young men and women, and doing so while making significant amounts of money charming viewers with his family’s full-frontal hugs and exclusive breeding announcements in People.

Bates, a 50-year-old tree trimmer from Lake City, TN, currently sits on the board of the Institute in Basic Life Principles (IBLP), the parent group of ATI:

The Bates Family Is Cable TV's New Duggars and They're Just as Toxic

Also on the board of IBLP is Dr. Stephen Paine, a practicing physician and “the father of ten outstanding sons and daughters.” One of those sons is Chad Paine, now the husband of Bates daughter Erin, and the father of the Bates’ newest grandchild.

The Bates Family Is Cable TV's New Duggars and They're Just as Toxic

Another Bates daughter, Alyssa Webster, is also married to ATI-enabling royalty. Webster’s new father-in-law, Florida Representative Daniel Webster, is known for passing the 1985 Home Education Program Act which legalized homeschooling in Florida. He used the ATI curriculum to educate his own children and has stated that Bill Gothard’s teachings “absolutely changed my life.”

But it’s not only men in the Bates orbit who profess a devotion to ATI’s teachings. On the Bates family website, Kelly touts the importance of the ATI curriculum in their household:

The Bates Family Is Cable TV's New Duggars and They're Just as Toxic
These Widsom Booklets that teach character lessons each morning are the same Wisdom Booklets that ask children “How can graphs help to visualize the consequences of lust?”

But most damning for the Bates family’s “better than the Duggars” image is their close relationship with Bill Gothard, the founder of IBLP, who was ousted from his leadership position in 2014 after 34 women came forward with accusations of sexual harassment and abuse. Yet just months before those allegations were made public, Gothard was a guest at the November 2013 wedding of Chad and Erin Paine where he, according to Kelly Bates, gave the opening prayer. It was also Gothard’s birthday and, at this big Bates family wedding, they served their leader a big special cake:

And their now-disgraced leader stood in front of his special cake:

And then, three months later, when news of Gothard’s alleged misbehavior became public, sweet, loving mother Kelly Bates, the mom who—when compared to Michelle Duggar—seems so much more honest, took a move straight from the Duggar playbook. According to message board posters at FreeJinger.org, she allegedly deleted these pictures from her family website making it seem as though Gothard never happened. And while a picture of the Gothard cake is now back up on the revamped family site, it has a tag on the bottom: “Groom’s Cake.” Because if you can’t make your secrets go away, you can always give them new labels. Birthday celebrations for alleged creeps can easily become groom’s cakes just like molestation revelations can become a vehicle to bring a family closer to God.

It will be interesting to see how or if the Bates family responds to the Duggar allegations in the coming weeks, but for now they’ve stayed silent, no doubt choosing to protect their image and their new, successful show. But even if they do speak out against the Duggars (they won’t), don’t forget they still remain a fundamental part of the ATI / Gothard machine. And no matter how sweet they keep, no matter how nice they seem, there’s still plenty of evidence to suggest that the Bates family’s television ministry plays an active role in the horrifying problem of silence and abuse in fundamentalist families.

They believe this shit. And they wish your family would believe it, too.

I did watch one of the Bates shows once.  Gil is a bigger grifter than the Palins, he even sends his kids to the ER for colds so he doesn't have to pay for it.  Kelly comes off as your typical inbred hillbilly.  These are the people the Duggars hang with.

Brancy tries to clear the air about the breakup

From Brancy's blog

I feel like I need to address the elephant-in-the-room on this blog, since you guys have been with me through thick and thin.  When I first got engaged, you were the first ones I wanted to tell.

I guess you have seen by now that the wedding — that was supposed to happen last weekend — was called off.  I’m sure you’ve seen this has been all over the media, but this is a painful time for family and friends and I would just really appreciate your prayers.

I know God’s plan is greater than anything else, and Tripp and I are in Alaska beginning to rebuild
our lives under much different circumstances than we anticipated.

Thank you for all of your love and support.

I still feel the wedding was a sham all along in order for Sarah to grift.  I think Sarah Pac is down to it's last few pennies.  Me thinks Sarah was more angry at Dakota than Bristol over the "secret wife" thing, which is why she showed up at the Kentucky hoedown and wagged her claw in Dakota's face.

Beau Biden son of VP Joe Biden passed away

My prayers and thoughts go out to the Biden family.  I just saw this on NBC News.  RIP Beau.

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar used a real rod to spank their kids

From Web Pro News

According to an unsealed police report, 19 Kids and Counting stars Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar reportedly use a rod to spank their kids.

The Daily Mail reports that one of Josh Duggar’s now well-covered molesting victims spoke of the Duggar’s discipline method of choice to an investigator.

“They have a rod,” said the victim. “[They] do this to all the kids.”

Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar have issued a statement of support of their son Josh during this scandal, saying:

“Back 12 years ago our family went through one of the most difficult times of our lives. When Josh was a young teenager, he made some very bad mistakes, and we were shocked. We had tried to teach him right from wrong. That dark and difficult time caused us to seek God like never before.”

This is getting worse and worse.  I predict the next report is Jim Bob and Michelle hosted swinger parties.

No Sarah Palin you are the one who hates America!

Josh Duggar made an incest joke

From Hollywood Reporter

The clip shows a then-20-year-old Duggar talking about his plans to take Anna (now his wife of nearly seven years) on a movie date. He explains that his sister Jinger was initially chosen to be their chaperone, but couldn't attend due to the movie being fit for viewers over 18 years old. "So, we chose Jana and John David. We thought, 'Why not have a double date?' " Duggar says, before jokingly adding, "We are from Arkansas!"

This speaks volumes of Josh's character.  He obviously has no remorse over what he did and thinks it's funny.

Sorry Sarah Palin Hillary is gonna happen, deal with it

From Wonkette (of course)

The Sarah Palin Channel started Memorial Day weekend a bit early this year, publishing two videos in the last week with a combined run time of just three minutes 38 seconds. Both videos were clearly shot back-to-back, with Palin wearing the same clothing, in front of the same backdrop. You wish you thought of this idea, you wish you were as good at making money as Sarah Palin.

One of the videos is titled “Who Will Take On VA Reform?”, and all of the commenters are like “YOU SARAH, OBVI.” It’s really boring and we’re not going to cover it. Instead, let’s observe Sarah Palin practice psychological warfare on Hillary Clinton, Wasilla High School style.

Well interesting news on the Hillary Clinton campaign front: her 2000 Senate campaign manager, he said he’s not endorsing her, well, not yet anyway. That former campaign manager is none other than New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio.

“Hillary Clinton’s friends don’t even like her, you guys. She’s a grody bee-yotch and everyone knows it.” [twirls hair around finger while minions point and laugh at poor, awkward Hillary Clinton]

“Bill de Blasio can do so much better than Hillary Clinton, don’t you think? He’s on the basketball team. I bet lots of girls would go out with him. Why would he ever choose someone like you?” [scoffs, cocks hips to one side, stares at Clinton from underneath eyebrows]

She’s vulnerable because she’s ethically challenged. Well, she failed as Secretary of State, and her signature effort as First Lady was Hillarycare, remember? And that was a disaster. That, of course, was the equivalent, mmm, to Obamacare.

Here, Yr Wonket will pause to remind the audience that Hillarycare centered on an employer mandate to provide health insurance, while Congressional Republicans insisted upon an individual mandate, because Personal Responsibility. Some years later, Republicans would then go on to claim that an individual mandate was an unconstitutional affront to personal liberty, because We Can’t Let The Black Guy Win.

The Republican Party was able to do this because they understand this country in a way that Wonkette’s progressive scum do not. We digress…

She’s held high office, but she’s proven that just ’cause she’s had a title, [buzzer noise], well, she still can’t handle the challenge, making wrong decision after wrong decision.

Yr Wonket stands by that transcription. Check 1:03 of the video if you doubt us.

The Obama-Clinton foreign policy was an absolute disaster, our government actually backed the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, and gave Libya to jihadists who murdered our ambassador and three other brave Americans…

As of Wonkette Press Time/It’s Quarter-Past Mai Tai Time On Memorial Day Weekend, the top two comments on this Sarah Palin Channel video were as follows.

SHE DIDN'T FORGET BENGHAZI, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE

Then Palin goes back to mocking Hillary Clinton, rubbing her face in the fact that super-tall, super-cute Bill DeBlasio is totally checking out other candidates, like, right in front of Hillary Clinton’s grotsky face, you guys.

Palin: So Mayor Bill, he’s smart to keep his options open.

[NBC Meet the Press clip]

de Blasio: …no, not until I see, and again, I would say this about any candidate, ’til I see an actual vision of where they want to go…

[end clip]

Palin: He believes that Hillary is the wrong candidate at the wrong time, perhaps, along with a lot of other Americans.

[end video]

Let’s go, you guys, I don’t want any of gross Hillary’s gross, weird grossness getting on my new dress. It’s Lily, do you guys like it?

I think Sarah is secretly in love with Hillary, just like she is with President Obama.

Sarah really did show up for the Meyer barbeque!

From the Daily Mail

The eleventh hour cancellation of Bristol Palin's Memorial Day Weekend wedding left mom Sarah with little alternative but to go ahead with the already planned reception - although significantly her daughter chose not to attend.

The bizarre set of circumstances mean't that while the former vice presidential candidate hung out with her daughter's ex-fiance and ex-Marine Dakota Meyer and his family in Kentucky, Bristol made a very public showing of her non-attendance by posting a series of photos of her enjoying a 'weekend getaway' back in Alaska with her best friend who is an exotic model.

Sarah Palin had taken to Facebook last Monday to reveal that her 24-year-old daughter would not be marrying Meyer as previously planned just days after accusations emerged that the 26-year-old Marine had covered up a 'secret wife' he had married at 19 and then legally divorced.

Despite the cancellation, the former vice presidential candidate confirmed a celebration would still be held on May 23 and both families would be gathering for a barbecue at Meyer's Kentucky farm.

'This Kentucky farm is a beautiful setting for our friends and families to gather in celebration of life itself this Memorial Day weekend,' wrote Palin.

'Nothing is more precious to us than family, faith and America's freedom.'
But the 'celebration of life' appears to have quite heated at one point as this photograph showing

Sarah Palin raising her finger in what appears to be a heated exchange with the man who was supposed to have become her son-in-law.

Days earlier Meyer had put out his own statement on Facebook page around the same time as the elder Palin and bearing striking similarities to her message, suggesting a concerted public relations offensive.

But if both sides were supposed to be maintaining a united front someone forgot to tell Bristol.

She was absent from the 'celebration of life' in Kentucky and instead spent the weekend posting photos of her enjoying a 'getaway weekend' back home in Atlanta.
Sarah Palin makes a big issue of her family's supposed belief in traditional Christian family values, but after the embarassment of a cancelled wedding Bristol's choice of friend for her trip - 'exotic model and video vixen' Marina Lupas - was the last thing the family's tarnished image needed.

Lupas aggressively markets herself as an 'exotic model' on the internet, and her public photos leave little doubt about what she means. She and Bristol are long time friends and they spent the weekend enjoying the outdoors and driving an RV.

Photos from the family barbecue in Kentucky suggest Bristol didn't miss much with only about 100 people showing up.

Although in attendance was Fox News correspondent Rick Leventhal who tweeted photos of himself with both Palin and Meyer.

Nope I don't feel sorry for Dakota at all, or sorry for Bristol either.  I''ll say it again, you sleep with fleas, you wake up with them.  So where was Todd and Piper?  Track was there with a girlfriend and Trigg supposedly was there too.  I don't see any Heaths attending either.

Jim Bob Duggar thinks incest should be punishable by death. Good idea, let's start with Josh

Until 19 Kids and Counting is canceled, I will do my part by posting an article about the Duggars exposing their hypocrisy daily.

From Gawker

Last week, 19 Kids and Counting’s Josh Duggar admitted that he molested his sisters when he was a teenager. Though his parents Jim Bob and Michelle successfully helped him avoid prosecution for his crimes, a couple of men have defended the way the Duggars handled the abusive situation in their home. Mike Huckabee has stood by the family in the wake of the scandal, and Jessa Duggar’s father-in-law Michael Seewald has attested that Jim Bob and Michelle “acted in a way that godly parents should.”

But what does Jim Bob think of his own response to his son’s familial abuse? In a brief statement to People, Jim Bob and Michelle said last week that “that dark and difficult time caused us to seek God like never before.” Maybe that’s because Jim Bob publicly stated during his 2002 campaign for U.S. Senate that he thinks incest should be punishable by death.

Jim Bob’s platform on his campaign website—preserved via web cache—states that he believes “rape and incest represent heinous crimes and as such should be treated as capital crimes.” Jim Bob offered this belief to explain his position on abortion (only acceptable if both the mother and the baby were going to die anyway, of course):

Jim Bob lost the Republican nomination for Senate to Arkansas’ incumbent Senator Tim Hutchinson. His son Josh remained very much alive and went on to molest several underage girls including some of his sisters from 2002-2003.

I think that is a great idea Jim Bob.  Let's execute Josh!

Who is Marina Lupas, Bristol Palin's BFF?

Marina Lupas who is Bristol's new BFF and probably the only one, has a very racy life.

Here she is at the "bridal shower"

This is her Twitter and Fecebook pages

She runs an exotic modeling business.  Hmm.  That's not very Christian is it?

Sarah Palin accused President Obama of palling around with terrorists, which of course is not true.  Can't we call out Bristol for "palling around with Playboy bunny wannabes"  I think so.

Hey if your looking for a unintelligent sounding, ignorant hillbilly for your next fundraiser or whatnot, Dakota Meyer is your man!

From Washington Post

Dakota Meyer, the former Marine and Medal of Honor awardee, was supposed to be getting hitched this weekend to Bristol Palin, the offspring of failed vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

The wedding, though, was called off, as Sarah Palin announced on her Facebook page — in the post, the Palins also swatted down tabloid reports that Meyer had a secret wife who might have presented a sliiight complication to the nuptial plans of the young couple.

So it appears Meyer’s got time on his hands now (that is, if he’s not too busy googling himself to read some of the wilder theories circulating about his wedding cancellation). Which might explain the Memorial Day-themed pitch that made its way to our inbox this week from a speaker’s bureau hawking the Afghanistan vet as a “military hero” whose speech would be just the thing for one’s next gathering. “He talks to audiences about being accountable and making the most out of trying circumstances,“[emphasis theirs] reads the pitch from Leading Authorities, a D.C.-based outfit that reps journalists, scholars, former pols and military brass. “His story is an inspiring example of taking advantage of the opportunities life gives you.”

At least the 26 year-old was lower on the list of suggested speakers than Gen. Stanley McChrystal and Robert O’Neill, the member of Seal Team Six who claims to have fired the shot that killed Osama bin Laden. Though if the “trying circumstances” included what it’s like to be part of the roving sideshow that is life with the Palin family (stretch Hummers and brawls! Wacky televised rants!), audiences might be riveted.

Leading Authorities’ Web site lists his fees as $10,000-$35,000, depending on the location. That’s a bit less than his was-supposed-to-be MIL, whose rates at one point reportedly reached $100,000.

Really no one wants to listen to Dakota Meyer any more than they would want to listen to Sarah Palin.  Rumor has it that Bristol was going to get a 65% cut of Dakota's speaking fees.  The grifter grifting off another grifter!  I think Dakota dodged a huge financial bullet there.

Another potential throwdown at the hoedown?

From Dumkota's Fecebook page

Bristol and I couldn’t be more thankful for the love and support of family and friends over the past months while preparing for our wedding. We have informed loved ones that unfortunately the announced celebration planned for May 23 will not be held. Many friends and family still look forward to getting together that day in Kentucky anyway - and we are happily looking forward to still being at "the old Kentucky home" on May 23to celebrate life, in general! Family members and close friends know they are welcome to share a great bar-b-que on the farm that day!

Hopefully no Palins will show up and start a drunken brawl.  I will be celebrating the broken engagement too.  I plan on having my own barbecue with friends on Saturday too.  The menu is chicken and ribs, cole slaw, corn on the cob,  my favorite beer and wine, watermelon, and cherry cheesecake for dessert.  Then on Monday I will attend Memorial Day Services.

Sounds like the Palins weren't invited cuz Skanky threw this zinger at Dumkota on her Fecebook:

Of course Dumkota had to respond:

I am thankful for all of those who said NO to me. It's because of them I'm doing it myself. - Albert Einstein

I gotta feeling that Skanky and Dumkota don't like each other.  Oh well they both deserve it.

My prayers are answered...19 Kids and on Hiatus!

From ABC News

The TV show "19 Kids and Counting" was pulled from TLC's schedule today, ABC News can confirm.

"Effective immediately, TLC has pulled all episodes of 19 Kids and Counting currently from the air," said a statement from the network today. "We are deeply saddened and troubled by this heartbreaking situation, and our thoughts and prayers are with the family and victims at this difficult time."

This comes one day after Josh Duggar responded to reports that he inappropriately touched minors several years ago. An In Touch story broke earlier this week that featured a 2006 police report from the Springdale Police Department in Arizona, who investigated the matter.

The report was expunged on Thursday at the request of victim "Jane Doe 1," according to Springdale Police Department public information officer Scott Lewis. He added that the request to expunge was filed on Tuesday and that it was processed in a normal amount of time -- two days.

The hit reality show had been on the air since 2008 and featured the Duggar family, their 19 kids and even their kids' young families. But after Josh Duggar addressed the In Touch story by saying he "would do anything to go back to those teen years and take different actions," the show was yanked by the network today.

This does not mean the show has been cancelled yet.

The Duggar family had been on the show for 10 seasons. The show was originally called "17 Kids and Counting," but the show patriarch and matriarch Jim Bob, 49, and Michelle, 48, had two more children over the past few seasons.

In a statement first provided to People magazine and then posted to Facebook, Josh admitted, "Twelve years ago, as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. I hurt others, including my family and close friends. ... I sought forgiveness from those I had wronged."

Josh, now 27 and the Duggar's eldest child, was 14 at the time of the first alleged incident, which he admitted to his father several years ago.

"I confessed this to my parents who took several steps to help me address the situation. We spoke with the authorities where I confessed my wrongdoing, and my parents arranged for me and those affected by my actions to receive counseling. I understood that if I continued down this wrong road that I would end up ruining my life," he said.

After his response, Duggar also resigned from his position at the Family Research Council.

Tony Perkins, president of FRC, told the Associated Press in a statement Thursday that Duggar resigned because the reports would "make it difficult for him to be effective." The Washington-based organization then accepted his resignation.

Josh's wife Anna, 26, has also released a statement to People, saying she knew about Josh's actions before they were married, adding that he received counseling after the incidents, which "changed his life."

"I can imagine the shock many of you are going through reading this. I remember feeling that same shock," she told the magazine. "When my family and I first visited the Duggar home, Josh shared his past teenage mistakes."

Let's face it, the show is cancelled.  If TLC pulled Honey Boo Boo and Jon and Kate plus 8 they can pull 19KAC.  Hell Mama June is even threatening to sue TLC if they don't cancel the Duggars.

Mike Huckabee also ruined any chance of becoming president today with his defense of the Duggars.

"Josh’s actions when he was an underage teen are as he described them himself, 'inexcusable,' but that doesn’t mean 'unforgivable.' He and his family dealt with it and were honest and open about it with the victims and the authorities," Huckabee wrote in a post on Facebook. "No purpose whatsoever is served by those who are now trying to discredit Josh or his family by sensationalizing the story. Good people make mistakes and do regrettable and even disgusting things."

Sarah Palin blames Democrats over the California drought

From Wonkette (who watches the SPC so we don't have to)

Yr Wonket has been covering the Sarah Palin Channel for the better part of a year now, and we have never, ever seen Palin say something this breathtakingly stupid. Hyperbole? Perhaps. But take a gander at this stupid, and have the number of your nearest burn unit on hand, because this is just searingly dumb:

Oh my goodness, California. Such an ideal state. Oh man, just, close to perfection. Except your politicians! Wow, your politicians.

Politicians like Darrell Issa, we presume. Also too, a former actor turned president whose anti-gun policies were a blatant affront to the Second Amendment. What was that guy’s name again?

California has been suffering from a long-term drought; most people are aware of that. Governor Brown’s answer, though, to that drought is to impose a 25% water reduction on California’s cities and towns. His main target are [sic] those really nice landscapes and lawns on golf courses and campuses and cemeteries and private property, your yards! Well, as long as those, long showers that maybe you take. [sic]

A quick reminder: the Sarah Palin Channel does not broadcast live. She could have reshot this video and denied Yr Wonket an opportunity to drop two [sic]’s in that blockquote. But she didn’t, because she has zero respect for her audience, which, come to think of it, is an attitude Palin shares with most members of Wonkette’s vile little snark mob.

So let’s talk about those lovely golf courses out there in Kommie-fornia! The city of Palm Desert is home to dozens of these clubs, and all of them are covered in grass. Palm Desert is, as you might imagine, a desert, and you do not need to be Carl Spackler to know that grasses native to Scotland and Bermuda do not thrive in California’s Mediterranean climate unless you pump in metric shit-tons of water. Literal metric shit-tons of water, you guys.

Nearby Palm Springs is even worse. Home to 124 golf courses, the Palm Springs region receives about three inches of rain annually, and almost all of the water used to irrigate those 124 courses comes from other parts of the state. This is not a commie pinko talking point; those claims come straight from the head lobbyist of the Southern California Golf Association. And every drop of water that’s used to jack up the stimpmeter at Palm Springs courses is a drop that cannot be used for drinking, bathing, or anything else in other parts of California.

Sarah Palin’s solution to this problem is simple: Just build more reservoirs!

You might ask, though, why don’t they just fix the infrastructure problem, why don’t they just build more reservoirs and plants? After all, California is a coastal state. It’s got a whole ocean right there, water all around ya.

Yr Wonket would not ask the first part of that question, actually, for the same reason that we would not arrive at a party that had run out of booze and suggest someone go pick up more empty bottles. Reservoirs do not come pre-filled. They are quite literally places that require you to “Just Add Water,” water that California simply does not have.

Palin then goes on to explain that “the environmentalists” are against her plan to drink the sea just because desalination plants are unbelievably energy intensive, as if that’s even a legitimate concern for a state that has been whipsawed by energy prices.

Then Palin says that these same environmentalists want to paint California’s brown lawns green, which is not something Yr Wonket has ever heard before, but hey, that is why we watch this stupid fucking Internet teevee channel every week, is it not?

Lest you think that we are picking on Palin’s weakest video this week, we remind you that Sarah Palin is all about grifting efficiency, and thus left us little choice. As of press time, Palin had published only one other video this week, and at 1:31 in run time, it is 45 seconds shorter than her deeply stupid ramblings about California’s drought. The Sarah Palin Channel is the rare instance in which “she makes it look so effortless” should not be interpreted as a compliment.

Once again Sarah Palin steps into a matter that she knows nothing about and is none of her business.  Sarah I thought you were for state's rights?

Question for Sarah and Todd Palin

Sarah why have you not released Trig's birth certificate?

Todd have you ever been with or hung out with hookers in Anchorage?

Josh Duggar abused girls and his dad didn't report it for over a year-Update Josh has resigned from the FRC!

From InTouch Weekly

Jim Bob Duggar waited more than a year after his son, Josh, confessed to sexually molesting several female minors before contacting police, In Touch Magazine is reporting exclusively, based on information contained in the official police report.

What’s more, Jim Bob informed the elders of his church about Joshua’s actions and they waited three months before contacting authorities. The explosive new information is contained in a Springdale, AK police report obtained by In Touch magazine.

The report has been hidden since 2006 and was just obtained by the mag through a Freedom of information Act request. Jim Bob also refused to allow police to interview Josh when they opened a felony investigation in 2006. The Duggars star on TLC’s hit show 19 Kids and Counting.

In Touch magazine first broke the news of the Duggars’ underage sexual molestation scandal in this week’s magazine. (Note: Josh’s name is redacted from the police report but In Touch has confirmed the passages that refer to him.)

Other bombshells in the police report are: Josh Duggar was investigated for multiple sex offenses — including forcible fondling — against five minors. Some of the alleged offenses investigated were felonies. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar were interview by the Springdale Police department on Dec. 12, 2006. The report says that James told police he was alerted in March, 2002 by a female minor that Josh — who turned 14-years-old that month — had been touching her breasts and genitals while she slept. This allegedly happened on multiple occasions. In 2006, Jim Bob told police that in July, 2002 Josh admitted to fondling a minor’s breasts while she slept. “James said that they disciplined (redacted, Josh) after this incident.” The family did not alert authorities.

Jim Bob told police that about nine months later in March, 2003 “there was another incident.” Josh was again accused by a female minor of touching her breasts and genitals. Josh was accused by several minors of touching their genitals, often when they slept, but at times when they were awake.

Jim Bob then “met with the elders of his church and told them what was going on.” No one alerted the police or any other law enforcement agency. Instead they decided to send Josh to a “program [that] consisted of hard physical work and counseling. James said that [redacted, Josh] was in the program from March 17, 2003 until July 17, 2003.”

He said the program was a “Christian program.” Michelle Duggar later admitted to police that Josh did not receive counseling and instead had been sent during that time to a family friend who was in the home remodeling business.

Asked about the training center that Jim Bob said Josh was sent to, Michelle told police, according to the report, “it was not really a training center. Det. [Darrell] Hignite asked if the guy [redacted, Josh] talked to was a certified counselor. She said no. She said it was a guy they know in Little Rock that is remodeling a building. Det. Hignite asked if the guy was more of a mentor. She said “kind of.”

The Duggars told police that Josh “apologized” to the female minors and that they had “forgiven” him.

An alleged victim told police in 2006 that Josh had told “mother and dad what had happened… (and) asked for forgiveness." The report notes the alleged victim says Josh “sought after God and had turned back to God.

Jim Bob told police that “several members of their church were aware of the situation and had been supportive of the family.”

Police interviewed several of the alleged minor victims in December, 2006. They told police that Josh had touched their breasts and sex organs.

Jim Bob told police in 2006 that when Josh returned home in 2003, Jim Bob, accompanied by some of his church elders, took Josh to Arkansas State Trooper, Jim Hutchens. Jim Bob knew Hutchens personally. Hutchens did not take any official action and instead gave Josh a “very stern talk.” As In Touch magazine reports exclusively in this week’s issue, Hutchens is now serving 56-years in prison for child pornography. He took no action on the Duggar case.

The Duggars told police that at the time Josh was accused of, and admitting to, these sexual acts, “a family friend aware of what had happened had written down in a letter what he knew of [redacted, Josh’s] actions…That letter had been placed in a book and had subsequently been forgotten about. Just recently [in 2006] the book had been loaned to someone else with the letter in it and another person discovered the letter.

The Duggars refused to tell police who wrote the letter and who found it.

When the family was scheduled to appear on Oprah Winfrey’s talk show in 2006, an email was sent to the show warning them about the alleged molestation. The email was written by a 61-year-old female who is not identified.

Harpo Studios faxed the letter to the Department of Human Services hotline. The report was then opened for investigation, leading to the investigation by Springdale police.

When police asked Jim Bob to bring Josh in for an interview in 2006, he attempted to hire a lawyer and refused to produce his son for questioning. At least two lawyers refused to take his case. “Det. Hignite received a voice mail from Mr. Duggar stating that [redacted] had hired an attorney and would not be coming in for an interview.”

In Touch magazine broke the story of Josh Duggar’s dark past in the issue currently on sale. The magazine obtained the police report, hidden since 2006, through a Freedom of Information Act request.

Police had to abandon pursuing charges because the [then] three-year statute of limitations had expired.

The alleged victims all described a consistent scenario of Josh touching their breasts and genitals and later apologizing. They said Jim Bob was aware of the situation and did not go to authorities for more than a year.

I am going out on a limb here and say the victims were Jana, Jill, Jessa, Jinger, and Joy because on page 11 of the police report is says the victims live with Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar who are identified as their parents.  My sympathy goes out to all five of them.  Jimb Bod, Michelle, and Josh can rot in hell.

Update: Josh admits the molestation charges are true and has resigned from the Family Research Council

In an exclusive statement to PEOPLE, Josh Duggar, his wife Anna, and his parents Jim Bob and Michelle are speaking out in response to reports that Josh was once accused of molesting five underage girls as a teen.

"Twelve years ago, as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. I hurt others, including my family and close friends," Josh, 27, tells PEOPLE in a statement. "I confessed this to my parents who took several steps to help me address the situation. We spoke with the authorities where I confessed my wrongdoing, and my parents arranged for me and those affected by my actions to receive counseling. I understood that if I continued down this wrong road that I would end up ruining my life."

Josh has resigned from his position at the Family Research Council as a result of the accusations becoming public, but his family has stood behind him.

"Back 12 years ago our family went through one of the most difficult times of our lives," Jim Bob, 49, and Michelle, 48, said in a joint statement. "When Josh was a young teenager, he made some very bad mistakes, and we were shocked. We had tried to teach him right from wrong. That dark and difficult time caused us to seek God like never before."

Their statement continues, "Even though we would never choose to go through something so terrible, each one of our family members drew closer to God. We pray that as people watch our lives they see that we are not a perfect family. We have challenges and struggles every day. It is one of the reasons we treasure our faith so much because God's kindness and goodness and forgiveness are extended to us – even though we are so undeserving. We hope somehow the story of our journey – the good times and the difficult times – cause you to see the kindness of God and learn that He can bring you through anything."

And Josh's wife Anna, 26, says she has remained supportive of her husband – even after he confessed his "past teenage mistakes" two years before he proposed marriage.

"I can imagine the shock many of you are going through reading this. I remember feeling that same shock," she says. "When my family and I first visited the Duggar home, Josh shared his past teenage mistakes. I was surprised at his openness and humility and at the same time didn't know why he was sharing it. For Josh, he wanted not just me but my parents to know who he really was – even every difficult past mistakes."

But Anna said she had confidence that the counseling her husband received "changed his life."

"He continued to do what he was taught. [I know] who Josh really is – someone who had gone down a wrong path and had humbled himself before God and those whom he had offended," she says. "Someone who had received the help needed to change the direction of his life and do what is right."

And for his part, Josh says he continues living with regret.

"I would do anything to go back to those teen years and take different actions," says Josh. "I sought forgiveness from those I had wronged and asked Christ to forgive me and come into my life. In my life today, I am so very thankful for God's grace, mercy and redemption."

Right now the ones I am most concerned about are the victims, Mackenzie who is Josh and Anna's oldest daughter, and their future daughter due in June.

You can still tell Trig Palin dislikes Sarah

You can tell that Sarah is trying to get Trig to kiss her but he won't.  Smart boy.

I feel so bad for Trig have a "mother" like that.  You can tell he is more relaxed and happy with Bristol even though she teaches him bad words.

Now that the wedding is over, Sarah Palin is back to her attacks on Facebook

From Sarah's Fecebook page

It's unfortunate and potentially frightening knowing that everywhere you look today jihad is on the march – even on American soil. Warnings for potential terrorist attacks on our homeland are now stepped up, and with the arrest of dozens of Americans on terrorism related charges, the message is clear that no place seems safe from jihad.

Our military personnel and law enforcement agencies have to be right every time, but the terrorists only have to get “lucky” once to do horrible damage to our country. The threat of radical Islam is real, and it must not be allowed to be ignored.

With the recent capture of Ramadi, ISIS has scored a key victory that is more than symbolic as this death cult takes land that Americans spilled blood and treasure to secure. Make no mistake that this situation could have been avoided had the Obama administration heeded the warnings of military brass that urged them to keep a residual force in Iraq to maintain the peace that America and our allies fought so hard for.

But it’s never too late to do the right thing. That means getting serious about defeating ISIS at the source while remaining ever vigilant at home. As always, our foreign policy must be rooted in the motto Peace Through Strength. For your part, friends, I encourage you to keep in perspective the issues-of-the-day that media chooses to report on. Demand our leaders and the press keep national priorities straight, and don't allow fear to dictate our actions and change our way of life. To cower in fear is to let the enemy win. So stay vigilant, take personal responsibility for the safety of ourselves and our property, support our troops, and learn through history that we only remain free by being brave.
May God's hand of protection remain on this country that has dedicated herself to Him.

- Sarah Palin

Yes Sarah there are threats of terrorism here in the US, but it's not ISIS or Al-Qaeda.

It's the AIP, Cliven Bundy, those motorcycle goons in Waco, Phineas Priesthood, Jewish Defense League, Earth Liberation Front, Army of God, Animal Liberation Front (Boy they really hate you Sarah), Black Liberation Citizens, Sovereign Citizens, The Crips, and last but not least the KKK

The wedding is off!

From Hoohah's Fecebook page:

Bristol and Dakota couldn’t be more thankful for the love and support of family and friends over the past months while preparing for their wedding. They have informed loved ones that unfortunately the announced celebration planned for May 23 will not be held. Many friends and family still look forward to getting together that day in Kentucky anyway – and the Palins and Meyers are happily looking forward to still being at "the old Kentucky home" on May 23 to celebrate life, in general! Family members and close friends know they are welcome to share a great bar-b-que on the farm that day. All involved, especially Dakota, Bristol and Tripp, and their parents and grandparents, thank supporters for the love they've expressed.

And friends, please see Bristol's message clearing up rumors that tabloids salivate over:
“Regarding salacious headlines in recent days about “secret wives”, Dakota and I discussed our past relationships prior to our engagement. Dakota was legally divorced years ago, as any good reporter could and should have disclosed to readers. As usual, false stories and dramatically written headlines begging controversy should be disregarded, and we have faith that our privacy will be respected at this time by those with decency. Thank you! – Bristol”

And from Dumkota's Fecebook page:

Bristol and I couldn’t be more thankful for the love and support of family and friends over the past months while preparing for our wedding. I personally don't think there was even going to be a wedding at all, considering the history of the Palins and how they like to lie, cheat, steal, and grift.  But let's say there was.  I really do not feel sorry for Bristol and Dakota at all.  If she is heartbroken she deserves it considering all the trashing she did to Levi, her hypocrisy over the years, and the way she abuses Tripp.

It sounds like Bristol really didn't know about Miss Wain.  If Dakota told her he was divorced, why would they break up?

If Dakota is heartbroken he deserves it too considering he is a liar and a fake.  Now no woman will want him.  He will die a lonely man.  And Bristol will die a lonely women.

Duck Dynasty still suffering from the Palin curse

From E Online

This musical will soon quack it's final quack.

The new Duck Commander Musical, a Las Vegas stage show based on a book written by two Duck Dynasty stars, will close on May 17 after more than one month.

The musical premiered officially at the Crown Theater in the Rio Hotel & Casino on April 15. It is based on the book The Duck Commander Family by Willie and Korie Robertson, who star with their family on the A&E reality show Duck Dynasty. The closing date was announced on Friday by Playbill, which reported that the show was supposed to run through June 30, and the website also only allows you to buy tickets through May 17.

"Duck Commander Musical transports the Louisiana bayou to the Las Vegas stage in a captivating 90-minute show—seasoned with all the southern spirit and down-to-earth humor you expect from America's most famous rednecks, the Robertson family," its website states. "But while the true-to-life, rags-to-riches story behind A&E's mega hit Duck Dynasty will surely please its most loyal fans, audiences unfamiliar with the Robertsons will also find themselves charmed—and even moved—by this surprising tale of faith, food, and family."

Yep yesterday was  the last day that piece of shit show in Vegas will perform.  And Philly you sleep with pigs, you are a pig yourself.  And this photo is proof you sold your soul to the devil:

Happy ex-anniversary to Dakota and Cassandra!

Dakota and Cassandra were married seven years ago today.  And it looks like they have been legally divorced since March 3, 2010:

'I can confirm Dakota Meyer and Cassandra Wain were legally divorced on March 3, 2010,' Sgt, Meyer's attorney Craig L. McCloud told Daily Mail Online.

Personally I would like to see the divorce decree.  I don't really care if Dakota was married before, but to leave that part out in his book is dishonorable.

At least Cassandra's best friend is calling Dakota out on his behavior:

‘We never discredit you as a Marine, you were a great soldier. We took you in after you came back from the hospital in Ohio and wanted to be there for you,’ she wrote in a Facebook comment on Meyer’s profile.

She continued: ‘What I'm not understanding is why this marriage to my best fiend is something you are trying to hide.

‘You guys were young and infatuated with one another. You got married, then realized it was a mistake. No scandal, no abuse, no nothing. It was short lived and we thought you all remained civil.

‘To read the bulls*** of people putting their two cents into this issue they know nothing about is hard to read.

‘Cassie is a small town girl who is beautiful and intelligent and just wants the past in the past. Now she's suffering from other people’s opinions of her based off your lies Dakota.

The "wedding" is this Saturday.

More media outlets are starting to pick up this story:

Is Sarah Palin ever going to appear on FOX again?-Update

She hasn't been on FOX since January.  I believe it was Feb when she made a complete ass out of herself at the Iowa Summit.  I imagine Ailes fired her.  What do you think?

Her FB posts and SarahPalinChannel vlog has very little content these days too.  And I doubt it's because of the wedding.

Update-Skanky and Turd are going to a fundraiser tomorrow in California.  Note how she  has to throw in Saint Ronnie's name:

Todd and I are very excited to attend the SEAL-NSW Family Foundation fundraiser tomorrow aboard the historic USS Iowa. We'll be joined by friends who love our troops as much as we do, and Todd will reunite with former Navy Seal and "Stars Earn Stripes" operative Brent Gleason.

This battleship is the perfect setting to honor the families of our Navy’s elite fighting force. The USS Iowa has a long and distinguished history as the lead ship of her class and the fourth to bear the name of the great state of Iowa. She was built and commissioned in 1943 in the New York Navy Yard in Brooklyn. During World War II, she transported President Roosevelt to and from Casablanca and was part of the Battles of the Philippine Sea and Leyte Gulf, and she was even present in Tokyo Bay on September 2, 1945, when the Japanese formally surrendered, ending World War II. She later served in the Korean War and was decommissioned for the first time in 1958. During President Reagan’s defense buildup in the 1980s, the USS Iowa was modernized and recommissioned, and she carried President Reagan during the International Naval Review in the Hudson River on the Fourth of July, 1986. She was decommissioned for the last time in 1990, and is now based at Berth 87 in the Port of Los Angeles where she's open to the public as the USS Iowa Museum.
This great ship and her crew represented the finest traditions of our United States Navy spanning over five decades. The USS Iowa, like our SEAL-NSW families, embodies the values of the Navy song, “Faith, Courage, Service True, with Honor, Over Honor, Over All.”

It is an honor to help raise funds for our sacrificial Seal families. God bless the men and women of our United States Navy and, so importantly, their families!

- Sarah Palin

I checked the SEAL-NSW Family Foundation Facebook page and the SEAl-NSW Family Foundation web page and I didn't find any mention of Sarah and Todd coming.

This may be a damage control effort by Sarah to appear everything is fine in Bristolland.

Sarah Palin if anyone should lay off sugar it's you!

From Wonkette

On this week’s Sarah Palin Fartknocker Report, Presented By Fartknocker, Sarah Palin picks on Connecticut State Rep. Juan Candelaria for having the GALL to propose a tax on sugary soft drinks. Doesn’t Rep. Candelaria know that taxes kill jobs?

But rather than learning this Dummycrat about how taxes make all jobs die forever, Sarah Palin explains the real problem: that ISIS exists, and therefore the Connecticut General Assembly—and by extension Barack Obama, we suppose?—had better get its act together, goshdarnit.

This video is perfect, an eternal golden braid of derp, and we are going to blockquote it at length:

Get this, a Connecticut Democrat has proposed legislation to tax sugary drinks at one cent per teaspoon of sweeteners, like sugars! Theses types of taxes, they’re designed to discourage certain behaviors, kinda mold the person into what some politician perceives as an ideal person, according to their own priorities.

Some taxes are indeed designed to place incentives—positive or negative—around certain behaviors. Like the way we give people free federal money just for forming babbies and popping them out of their belly buttons or however it works! By this standard, Sarah Palin has kinda molded herself into what some politician perceives as an ideal person at least five times.

Those are called ‘sin taxes.’ But wait a second: liberals are now all of a sudden interested in sin? Well how judgmental!

This is what political satire sounds like when you’ve inhaled too much methane from the melting permafrost.

During a time when Christians are being targeted and murdered by radical Islam, when the Obama administration still isn’t serious about jihad, when our national debt is sky-high and growing every day, and when our borders are open and we’re rewarding illegal aliens whose first act upon our soil is to break our laws—yeah our borders aren’t secure—well, really, soda? That should be way down on the list of government concerns.

Rep. Candelaria’s proposed sugar tax has been tabled and is currently awaiting a hearing in the Connecticut House Committee on Finance, Revenue, and Bonding. That’s a pretty good indication that a tax on sugary sodas is indeed “way down on the list of government concerns,” but Yr Wonket is confident that Sarah Palin’s subscribers have Trusted But Verified this fact-flavored nugget from Governor Quitterface. Besides, mentioning the disposition of Rep. Candelaria’s bill would take the piss out of this whole post, and what is Palin going to do, spend another three minutes shooting a different video?

Then Palin goes into the history books, which you brainwashed progressives probably haven’t even read.

Prohibition didn’t work well the first time around, did it? Shoot, if people want sugar, like me? We’re gonna get it!

An outstanding historical comparison from “Lou Sarah,” because prohibition was nothing more than a one-cent tax on alcohol. You really do learn stuff from watching her Internet teevee channel.

Okay Sarah, big finish!

Hey Democrats, why don’t you stop your moral preening and actually work to fix some things that are wrong in our nation?

It's been rumored that Sarah has an eating disorder, she has been known to devour Taco Bell and Oreo, wash it down with Dr Pepper only to throw it back up.  So if she lived in CT she would have a real hard time with this.  So Sarah, get a grip.  You don't live in CT so it doesn't concern you at all.

I never thought this would be possible but Jeb Bush is dumber than is brother

From NPR

Jeb Bush is walking back an answer on the Iraq war, in which he had said he would have authorized the invasion — even knowing what we know now.

"I interpreted the question wrong, I guess," he told conservative Sean Hannity on Hannity's radio show Tuesday afternoon. "I was talking about given what people knew then, would you have done it, rather than knowing what we know now. And knowing what we know now, you know, clearly there were mistakes."

Still, Bush did not say the invasion was a "mistake," or that he would not have authorized it.

"I don't know what that decision would have been, that's a hypothetical," Bush said, given the chance to try again. "The simple fact is mistakes were made. ... And so we need to learn from the past to make sure we're strong and secure going forward."

On Monday, Fox's Megyn Kelly asked Bush, "Knowing what we know now, would you have authorized the invasion?"

"I would have," Bush answered, "and so would have Hillary Clinton. just to remind everybody. And so would have just about everybody that was confronted with the intelligence that they got."

Bush's reference to Hillary Clinton was because of her 2002 vote in the U.S. Senate to authorize the use of force in Iraq. Ultimately, Saddam Hussein did not have the weapons of mass destruction the White House and intelligence reports claimed.

Clinton, unlike Bush, has since said her vote was a "mistake." In the interview with Kelly, Bush also stressed that he and his brother both acknowledge mistakes in how the mission was carried out.

"Yeah, I mean so, just newsflash for the world," Bush said, "if they're trying to find places where there's space between me and my brother, this may not be one of those."

Bush's vacillation on Iraq underscores just how tricky this subject is for him.

The Iraq war remains very unpopular. An October 2014, NBC/Wall Street Journal poll found 66 percent of Americans say the war wasn't worth it.

But Republican Strategist Rich Galen says that number doesn't take into account more recent foreign policy worries that people have — under a Democratic president.

"I mean, people are reading everyday about ISIS and Iran," Galen said, "and it's a different time and place, and we're looking at different issues."

And he noted that Election Day 2016 is still a long way off.

"I'm not sure that it matters one way or another 18 months away," Galen argued. "We'll see what else is on peoples minds at the time."

Of course, while Obama's approval ratings, particularly on foreign policy, have suffered in the past couple of years, his ratings are still higher than George W. Bush's at the same point in his presidency. Obama's approval in Gallup's polling this month was 47 percent. In May 2007, Bush's was 34 percent and plummeting, eventually bottoming out at 25 percent after the Lehman Brothers collapse before the 2008 election.

Democratic pollster Peter Hart was blunt.

"Iraq has such a strong stench in terms of the American public," Hart said. "It is a sense that we made huge mistake, and we were afraid to admit it."

Hart adds that at this very early stage of the campaign people are still getting to know Jeb Bush. They think of him as a Bush first, which brings with it a lot of history.

"And the challenge for Jeb Bush is to establish his credentials rather than getting caught and enmeshed in his brothers administration," Hart said.

That's clearly something Bush knows as he tours the country in advance of his expected announcement. In public appearances he talks about his family. He says how proud he is of both presidents Bush, his father and his brother.

But, he added in a February speech in Chicago, "I'm my own man, and my views are shaped by my own thinking and my own experiences."

George W. Bush acknowledged at a private event last month that he is one of his brother's biggest problems when it comes to the campaign. He added that he'll help by laying low.

But that won't stop the questions, and the onus will be on Jeb Bush to show how he'd be different.

Sorry Jebby, you said it, you own it.

I always knew Jeb was as dumb as Dumbya.  I thought Neil was the smart one but then again he got herpes.

Sarah Palin trying to be evangelical

From Sarah's Fecebook page

Those honoring the National Day of Prayer this week are committed to our nation's biblical foundation, and we thank selfless Americans who protect this Christian nation’s freedom of religion! In reverence to the Lord's grace and mercy we will never allow God to be booted from the public square. The public acknowledgement of our need for God’s blessing has been with us from the beginning – from the eve of our Revolution, when the First Continental Congress called for “a day of publick humiliation, fasting, and prayer,” to 1952, when Congress established the National Day of Prayer. It was signed into law so we would “turn to God in prayer,” knowing our need for His hand of protection and guidance. Today, more than ever, we need the Almighty’s mercy, and we are actually invited by Him to humbly ask that He bless this land. Please pray that He will navigate us through these troubling times, dedicating ourselves and our great nation back to Him.

- Sarah Palin

Sarah Palin doesn't pray let alone go to church.  Hell she sticks pins in a Barack Obama doll.
