Quitty quits again!

From Climate Depot

With welcoming remarks by Congressman Lamar Smith (R-TX), Chairman of the House Science, Space and Technology Committee and headlined by Gov. Sarah Palin (2008 Republican Vice Presidential Candidate; 9th Governor of Alaska), the panel will be taped and shown during the national theater event. The discussion will be moderated by Brent Bozell, Founder and President of the Media Research Center, and will also include other notable experts including respected climatologist Dr. David Legates and a special video appearance by Emmy Award-winning educator Bill Nye the Science Guy. The panel will further examine some of the science, politics, and media coverage of the climate issue, and go far toward helping debunk much of the alarmism and hype exposed in the Climate Hustle film.

Unfortunately Sarah has decided to quit the panel before it even started

Turns out grifters gotta grift only if actual facts aren't involved. Bi-Partisan Report, emphasis added:

The half-term Republican governor of Alaska isn’t known for much except publicly spewing verbal diarrhea and endorsing the likes of Donald Trump. Why would she be speaking about climate change? Well, turns out, she’s not. The infamous (and not for good reason) Sarah Palin has chickened out of “debating” with “Bill Nye the Science Guy” in person, and has opted for some kind of pre-recorded video conversation instead.

Really? Quitty McQuitter is just gonna phone it in? That's a real shame.

I have to assume wiser heads told her the few wingnuts still buying her brand aren't interested in a "debate" over climate science. Just put Jesus on that dinosaur and ride.

Editor's Note:

There are questions about whether or not this event was actually ever really a "debate," given that Nye had not been contacted about appearing at the time the Palin announcement was made.

Instead, it seems to be a publicity stunt to promote a climate-denying film ahead of its release, bought and paid for by...climate deniers.

More from a friend of Bill Nye's.

This “special appearance” by Bill Nye will be not-so-special since it’s actually just a reel of film, recorded from a conversation Nye and Morano had face to face on a park bench in late March. The discussion happened between the two over the topic of Morano’s film, which Nye was shown clips of during the encounter.

In fact, thanks to Structure Films, you can watch a few minutes of this encounter right now in a clip from their forthcoming documentary, The Bill Nye Film:

Perhaps Sarah quitting this one will be better for her cuz I doubt this will be any better than the disaster in Milwaukee a couple of weeks ago.

  1. $arah Paylin talking about climate change and SCIENCE would be like Donald DrumpF talking about nukular physics.

Neither of them know a god damn thing about sciencey stuff. They are far too lazy, ignorant, and uneducated to actually do research on a topic, look at the evidence, and make an objective decision based on FACT.

Whatever Faux news, Alex Jones, Tony Perkins, Rush Slimeball, or DrumpF says is good enough for the fake Christian quitter Queen failed defeated Paylin.

$arah the idiot is utterly hopeless about anything technical, mechanical, or scientific

Might as well invite the family dog to a class in biology or chemistry than to have that stupid woman speak about climate change.

  2. Of course it's going to be taped! We've all heard the screech's free form word salad, especially when she's trying to sound smart.

  3. The Wasilla World class Idiot looks just like her mother now.

  4. Turns out that Bill Nye was never even contacted, and thus was not even invited!
As to the Tundra Turd: did anyone here actually believe she would show up? We know her better than that!

  5. Looks like someone convinced her that she would be the laughing stock (which she is) if she went to that debate.
