This blog is designed to educate the voting public on the dangers and evils of Sarah Palin and her ilk.
And what happened to Jill Haddassah, the Wonder/Therapy dog adopted to be Trig's stepstool? The dog from that scam kennel in Iowa, Puppy Jake? Becky Beach's grift scheme? Yeah, you know that one!!!
The saddest part of the Trig story is the lack of appropriate therapy for him. Instead of a consistent routine in the same place, Trig was dragged around as the election prop for Sarah 8 years ago. Then, she dragged him around as her book tour prop. We all remember the photo of Sarah showing off Trig to the late night crowd on a chilly night. Trig was dressed in a t-shirt and a diaper. Then there was the photo of Sarah and a helper trying to feed a crying Trig.Once Sarah and Todd claimed ownership of Trig, they were his parents, regardless of Trig's birth parents. Since Sarah didn't pay all that much attention to her other four children, I guess that Trig ended up with the same amount of neglect. I wonder if Trig can feed himself, eat solid food, go to the toilet by himself, speak in full sentences. I also wonder if a consistent therapy program early in life would have helped him realize his full potential.
I knew Jill would not last with the Palins. Labs are high energy and need constant attention and activity. The kind of dog the Palins prefer are little toy lapdogs they can carry around. I'll never forget how Tripp kicked Jill in the face when she was trying to get on the sofa with them. I have 2 Goldens and they just want to be as close to where you are to be happy. It's a shame Jill had to live with the Palins, poor puppy.
It is doubtful that Jill was a highly trained service dog. That takes 18 to 24 months and Jill was still a frisky puppy when she went to live with the Palin family. Jill may have been a nice dog but not service dog caliber. Sarah Palin couldn't get the dog to follow simple commands in her video. Poor dog, poor kids. They deserve better.
